– First-in-Class approval supported by Phase 3 BROADWAY, BROOKLYN, and TANDEM trials demonstrating significant LDL-C reductions with favorable tolerability profile –

– First global regulatory approval of obicetrapib marks a defining milestone for NewAmsterdam and Menarini, expanding treatment options for patients with elevated LDL-C –

FLORENCE, Italy, NAARDEN, Netherlands and MIAMI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — NewAmsterdam Pharma Company N.V. (Nasdaq: NAMS or “NewAmsterdam” or the “Company”), a late-stage, clinical biopharmaceutical company developing oral, non-statin medicines for patients at risk of cardiovascular disease (“CVD”) with elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (“LDL-C”), for whom existing therapies are not sufficiently effective or well-tolerated, along with partner Menarini Group (“Menarini”), today announced that the European Commission (EC) has granted marketing authorization for Ubeslo® (obicetrapib 10 mg monotherapy) and Evlarco® (10 mg obicetrapib plus 10 mg ezetimibe fixed-dose combination) for patients with primary hypercholesterolaemia, both heterozygous familial (“HeFH”) and non-familial or mixed dyslipidaemia, marking the first regulatory approval of obicetrapib worldwide.

“The European Commission approval of Ubeslo and Evlarco marks a major milestone for NewAmsterdam as the first regulatory approval of obicetrapib globally, a novel oral therapy, and validates years of work focused on delivering a potential new treatment option for patients who continue to struggle to achieve recommended LDL-C levels despite previously available therapies,” said Michael Davidson, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of NewAmsterdam Pharma. “This first-in-class approval reflects the strength of the clinical evidence supporting obicetrapib, the dedication of our team and partners, and our commitment to addressing one of the largest unmet needs in cardiovascular medicine. Together with Menarini, we look forward to bringing Ubeslo and Evlarco to patients across Europe and building on this important milestone as we advance our vision of making obicetrapib available to patients around the world.”

The European Commission approval follows the positive opinion adopted by the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) and is supported by data from NewAmsterdam’s comprehensive clinical development program evaluating obicetrapib, including the Phase 3 BROADWAY, BROOKLYN and TANDEM trials, which demonstrated statistically significant LDL-C reductions of up to 40% with obicetrapib monotherapy versus placebo and approximately 50% with obicetrapib combined with ezetimibe versus placebo, with a tolerability profile comparable to placebo. NewAmsterdam and Menarini continue to advance the clinical development of obicetrapib through multiple ongoing Phase 3 trials, including PREVAIL, a cardiovascular outcomes trial, as well as REMBRANDT and RUBENS.

“This approval represents an important advancement for patients across Europe who require additional LDL-C lowering despite available therapies,” said Elcin Barker Ergun, Chief Executive Officer of Menarini Group. “We are proud to reach this significant achievement alongside NewAmsterdam and look forward to leveraging our well-established commercial capabilities and deep cardiovascular expertise to bring Ubeslo and Evlarco to healthcare providers and eligible patients throughout Europe.”

Under the parties’ licensing agreement, Menarini holds exclusive commercialization rights for obicetrapib in Europe and is responsible for regulatory interactions and commercialization activities throughout the region. NewAmsterdam is entitled to tiered double-digit percentage royalties ranging from the low double-digits to mid-twenties on net sales in the Menarini Territory and up to an additional €833 million upon the achievement of various clinical, regulatory and commercial milestones.

For full details on the approved indications, contraindications, warnings, and precautions please refer to the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) which will be made available on the European Medicines Agency websites at:https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/medicines/human/EPAR/ubeslo

About Obicetrapib

Obicetrapib is a novel, oral, low-dose CETP inhibitor that NewAmsterdam is developing to overcome the limitations of current LDL-lowering treatments. In each of the Company’s Phase 2 trials, ROSE2, TULIP, ROSE, and OCEAN, as well as the Company’s Phase 3 BROOKLYN, BROADWAY and TANDEM trials, evaluating obicetrapib as monotherapy or combination therapy, the Company observed statistically significant LDL-lowering combined with a side effect profile similar to that of placebo. The Company commenced the Phase 3 PREVAIL cardiovascular outcomes trial in March 2022, which is designed to assess the potential of obicetrapib to reduce occurrences of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (“MACE”). The Company completed enrollment of PREVAIL in April 2024 and randomized over 9,500 patients. Commercialization rights of obicetrapib in Europe, either as a monotherapy or as part of a fixed-dose combination with ezetimibe, have been exclusively granted to the Menarini Group, an Italy-based, leading international pharmaceutical and diagnostics company.

About Cardiovascular Disease

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death globally, despite the availability of lipid-lowering therapies (“LLTs”). By 2050 more than 184 million U.S. adults are expected to be affected by CVD and hypertension, including 27 million with coronary heart disease and 19 million with stroke. In the United States from 2019 through 2022, CVD age-adjusted mortality rates increased by 9%, reversing the trend observed since 2010 and undoing nearly a decade of progress. Despite the availability of high-intensity statins and non-statin LLTs, LDL-C target level attainment remains low, contributing to residual cardiovascular risk, and underscoring a significant clinical need for improved therapeutic regimens. Even with 269 million LLT prescriptions written over the last 12 months, 30 million under-treated US adults are not at their risk-based LDL-C goal, of which 13 million have ASCVD. Less than 1 in 4 patients with ASCVD achieve an LDL-C goal of less than 70 mg/dL and only 10% of very high risk ASCVD patients achieve the goal below 55 mg/dL. In addition to the 30 million under-treated U.S. adults, there are 10 million patients diagnosed with elevated LDL-C who are not taking any LLTs including statins. Beyond LDL-C, additional factors are at play, such as lifestyle choices, tobacco use, and obesity, as well as inflammation, thrombosis, triglyceride levels, elevated Lp(a) levels, and type 2 diabetes.

About NewAmsterdam

NewAmsterdam Pharma (Nasdaq: NAMS) is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to build a new standard of care for people living with cardiometabolic disease. The Company is advancing therapies designed to address a significant unmet need for safe, well-tolerated, and convenient treatment options that lower LDL-C while advancing innovation beyond a single marker to better address cardiovascular risk. In multiple Phase 3 trials, NewAmsterdam is investigating obicetrapib, an oral, low-dose, once-daily CETP inhibitor, alone and as a fixed-dose combination with ezetimibe, in patients at risk of cardiovascular disease with elevated LDL-C. Guided by its mission, the Company challenges convention with courage, translates deep biological insight into meaningful patient impact, and delivers with rigor, precision, and purpose.

About Menarini Group

The Menarini Group, with headquarters in Florence, is present in 140 countries worldwide to date, with $5.5 billion in consolidated turnover and more than 17,000 employees. Menarini’s products are present in the most important treatment areas, including those of cardiometabolic, oncology, gastroenterology, diabetology, pneumology, and anti-inflammatory/analgesic products. Through its commitment to R&D and high-quality manufacturing activities, Menarini continuously contributes to patients’ health worldwide, maintaining the highest quality standards.

East West Barbershop: Bringing Vietnamese Barbering to Europe Through Skill and Identity

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM –
Media OutReach Newswire
– 9 September 2026 – In 2024, East West Barbershop (Dong Tay Barbershop) opened its first branch in Hungary, marking a milestone in its journey to take a Vietnamese barbering brand global. For Chairman Nguyen Hoai Thanh, Europe represents a demanding test of the company’s operational capabilities, technical expertise and adaptability.

Europe: A demanding test for a Vietnamese barbering brand

Founded in Vietnam in 2018, East West Barbershop has grown from a local men’s barbershop into a global men’s grooming brand.

In less than a decade, the chain has expanded across Vietnam and into international markets, becoming one of Asia’s prominent men’s grooming brands.

While expansion in Vietnam has been driven by growing demand for men’s grooming, operating in Europe presents a more complex challenge.

Tax regulations, business requirements, labor laws and working-hour rules are strictly regulated, while costs for premises, personnel and operations are significantly higher.

“Europe is a demanding market, with high service expectations and stringent regulations. To integrate into the market, we did not simply replicate our Vietnamese model in Europe.

I have traveled to Europe several times to study the market, adjust our operating procedures and enhance the customer experience,” said Nguyen Hoai Thanh, Chairman of East West Barbershop Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

These efforts are beginning to yield results. Its Hungary branch has built a base of returning customers, demonstrating that a Vietnamese brand can earn trust in a demanding market by respecting local standards while leveraging its own strengths.

East West Barbershop brings Vietnamese and European barbers together to exchange expertise, share experiences and learn from one another, turning its international expansion into a two-way journey of professional growth.

This reflects the spirit behind the name “East West”: Connecting professionals from different cultures to grow together.

From a haircut to an East-West cultural exchange

Vietnamese and European barbers differ in their professional cultures. In Vietnam, barbers often build close relationships with customers through everyday conversations, personalized advice and an ability to remember individual preferences.

East West Barbershop preserves these values internationally while adapting to European expectations of professionalism, precision, personalization and service consistency.

From popular styles such as fades, undercuts and hair tattoos to services including shampooing, facial shaving, ear cleaning and massage, the brand aims to create a personalized grooming experience.

Its stores also feature greenery, bookshelves and relaxation areas, turning a haircut into a genuine moment of leisure.

Today, East West Barbershop operates more than 130 branches globally, with over 1,000 employees.

Behind these figures remains a simple ambition: To take Vietnamese barbering further through the skill and dedication of its barbers.

East West Barbershop’s European journey is more than opening another store. It demonstrates that a Vietnamese brand can enter international markets through craftsmanship, professionalism and a distinctive identity.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

inCruises Launches Land Vacations and River Cruises, Opening New Experiences Beyond the Ocean

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

The move signals the company’s ambition to become a full-service travel membership, not just a cruise club

BELGRADE, Serbia, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — inCruises made a major product announcement this weekend, unveiling two new travel categories at its first-ever THE Global Convention in Belgrade, Serbia. The company introduced inTrips, curated, multi-day land-based vacations launching first in Dubai, and added River Cruises through partnerships with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises.

Together, the launches represent a meaningful expansion in what an inCruises Membership delivers. For travelers considering joining, or who have been accumulating Membership Reward Points and want more ways to use them, the extension opens doors that didn’t previously exist.

Introducing inTrips: The Complete Land Vacation, Built Around ValueThe idea behind inTrips is straightforward: apply the same savings principles that make inCruises work for ocean travel to expertly planned, multi-day land vacations.

Travel experts design each inTrip by researching the destination and surrounding region before assembling accommodations, transfers, transportation, sightseeing, tours, excursions, attractions, and free time into a single itinerary. Travelers get the convenience of a well-organized trip without the hours of planning typically required to build one.

“inTrips was built around the simple belief that a great vacation shouldn’t require multiple spreadsheets, three weeks of research, and a year’s worth of savings. We’ve done the heavy lifting so our Members can simply show up and experience the destination,” said Anthony Varvaro, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Finance Officer at inCruises.

inTrips will launch in the United Arab Emirates, beginning with Dubai, historically inCruises’ most popular destination.

The initial collection includes:

The initial inTrips are expected to become available in late 2026, with additional destinations and regions planned as the category expands.

A New Way to Use Membership BenefitsFor travelers who are inCruises Members, inTrips unlocks two compelling ways to reduce the cost of a complete vacation:

With inTrips, travelers can apply Reward Points toward a complete vacation that includes accommodations, transfers, transportation, tours, excursions, and other included experiences—significantly expanding where Members can put their Reward Points to work.

“We wanted Reward Points to feel useful year-round, not just when someone is booking a cruise. inTrips makes that possible by putting points to work toward a complete vacation experience,” said Anthony Varvaro, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Finance Officer at inCruises.

River Cruises Join the inCruises PortfolioinCruises also announced the introduction of River Cruises for its Members, offering access to a fundamentally different style of travel: smaller ships, intimate waterways, and immersive access to inland destinations and cultures that ocean cruising doesn’t reach.

The expansion will launch through partnerships with leading river cruise brands AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises, unlocking waterways and destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, including the Danube, Rhine, Seine, Rhône, Douro, Mekong, Nile, Chobe, and Magdalena.

“River cruising opens a completely different relationship with a destination. Instead of simply arriving at a port, travelers can experience the heart of a region as they journey along its rivers, with opportunities to explore historic cities, smaller towns, and landscapes often inaccessible to larger ships. From the villages and vineyards along the Rhine and Danube to the culture and scenery of destinations throughout Europe, river cruising allows travelers to discover and experience more,” said Tatiana Wegzyn, Commercial Partnerships Manager at inCruises. “Partnering with AmaWaterways and Emerald Cruises means our Members can access these experiences through two brands that have spent decades refining the river cruise experience.”

A Travel Membership That Keeps ExpandingThe two announcements bring the inCruises offering to its broadest point since the company’s founding in 2016. With inCruises, Members have access to:

For travelers who have been curious about what an inCruises Membership delivers, the answer is now considerably broader than a cruise discount club. As the company continues to expand its portfolio and global reach, these launches signal a clear direction for the future: more choice, more experiences, and more value for Members wherever their travels take them.

About inCruises and inGroup InternationalinCruises is a division of inGroup International and one of the world’s largest subscription-based travel clubs. Since launching in 2016, inCruises has booked more than 770,000 guests and provides access to nearly 200,000 cruise, hotel, and resort options worldwide.

Through its award-winning global platform, available in 17 languages, Members benefit from multiple ways to reduce travel costs while accessing exceptional value across a wide range of experiences.

inCruises is making a meaningful difference in its Members’ lives by helping them travel more often and more affordably, while also providing a compelling opportunity for its expanding global Partner community.

As part of its broader mission to enrich lives, the company is committed to being a positive global corporate citizen, actively supporting Mercy Ships and other humanitarian initiatives.

Infinium Launches mSAF Platform, Extending Its Commercial Product Offerings to Methane Feedstocks

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Methane-to-SAF pathway combines Infinium’s commercially deployed advanced Fischer–Tropsch platform with electrified reforming to expand where low-carbon aviation fuel can be produced

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Infinium today introduced its mSAF product offering, a new methane-derived sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) platform which converts renewable natural gas, biogas, flare gas, and other qualified methane streams into low-carbon aviation fuel. The new offering expands the feedstocks and locations available for Infinium projects while complementing the company’s growing CO₂-based eSAF business.

The expansion addresses a fundamental challenge for aviation: no single feedstock pathway can produce all of the low-carbon fuel needed to satisfy rising SAF mandates and industry commitments. Renewable natural gas, biogas, flare gas and other methane streams are already aggregated at landfills, dairies, wastewater facilities and gas-gathering systems across North America, Asia, Europe and other geographies and are increasingly looking for diversified end use opportunities.

“mSAF expands what Infinium’s platform can do. It gives us another way to apply our proven technology, develop projects across a broader range of locations and deliver more low-carbon fuel alongside our growing eSAF business. Aviation needs multiple scalable pathways, and Infinium is positioned to continue to deliver options.”

— Robert Schuetzle, CEO, Infinium

One Proven Technology, Two Feedstock Pathways

Infinium has more than a decade of experience converting gases into liquid hydrocarbons with its synthesis technology deployed across commercial installations. Synthesize™ — Infinium’s proprietary advanced Fischer–Tropsch catalyst and reactor design for converting syngas into liquid hydrocarbons — is also used to produce Infinium eFuels today. The two product lines share core synthesis technology, catalyst manufacturing, product specifications and certification pathways.

Electrified Reforming Improves Yield and Carbon Performance

Infinium’s mSAF platform also utilizes its proprietary Reform™ package – a proprietary electric steam methane reformer (eSMR) designed to produce syngas with a lower carbon footprint than a traditional gas-fired SMR. Infinium is deploying the world’s largest eSMR at Project Roadrunner, for conversion of methane into syngas.

Conventional steam methane reforming burns a portion of the feed gas to produce process heat. This adds combustion emissions to the fuel’s lifecycle footprint and consumes feedstock carbon that could otherwise be converted into the finished product.

Infinium’s Reform™ technology uses renewable electricity to provide that process heat. This keeps more feedstock carbon available for conversion, increasing fuel yield per unit of gas, while avoiding the reforming-related combustion emissions associated with conventional systems. For RNG projects, where feedstock cost and carbon intensity are central to commercial performance, greater yield and lower reforming emissions directly improve project economics.

Carbon Intensity Verified Project by Project

Infinium worked with RMI, an independent energy and climate research organization with expertise in methane emissions, low-carbon fuels, aviation and industrial decarbonization, on an assessment of the growing mSAF market opportunity.

“Biogas and renewable natural gas are emerging as important areas of inquiry for hard-to-abate sectors, including low-carbon fuels and industrial value chains. These pathways may offer meaningful climate and commercial value, but only if they are supported by rigorous lifecycle accounting, auditable chain-of-custody systems, and credible certification frameworks. RMI was pleased to support Infinium’s strategic assessment of this evolving landscape to better understand challenges and opportunities for meaningful climate benefit.”

– Bryan Fisher, Managing Director, RMI

The mSAF designation does not imply a single carbon-intensity value across all projects.
Tencent Esports Competition Solution to Power Esports Competition at the 20th Asian Games

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Tencent Esports Competition Solution (ECS), a first-of-its-kind designed for large-scale intercontinental esports competitions, provides end-to-end technical support across 11 esports events, helping safeguard fair play and consistent competition across one of the most complex esports programmes in Asian Games history

TOKONAME, Japan, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Esports will return as an official medal event for the second time at the 20th Asian Games, with its largest programme in Asian Games history set to take place from September 22 to October 2 at Hall D of the Aichi Sky Expo in Japan. Featuring 11 events across six game categories and multiple publishers, the programme will bring together different games, devices and technical environments within a single multi-sport competition, requiring teams to coordinate across different game engines, version management systems and device formats. Tencent Esports Competition Solution (ECS) will provide end-to-end technical support across all 11 esports events.

Designed to support referees, competition operations and monitoring teams throughout the competition lifecycle, ECS covers everything from pre-match equipment checks and real-time match monitoring to post-match review and record management.

Creating a Consistent Competition Environment Across 11 Events

Unlike professional esports leagues, where technical and operational workflows can be built around the requirements of an individual game, a multi-sport event needs multiple titles, teams and competition officials to operate within a consistent framework.

ECS operates across three key stages of competition. Before a match, the Inspection Station supports checks of player peripherals, devices and the competition environment, while maintaining check-in records. During competition, the Monitoring Console tracks more than 30 indicators in real time, including device and network status, and brings together multiple video sources such as Player POV, Observer View (OB) and Hand Cam.

Following each match, the Review Room provides competition officials with access to match records and footage for post-match review, information retention, record summaries and video archiving.

Building on Asian Games Experience

ECS builds on Tencent Esports’ previous experience supporting esports at the 19th Asian Games, where its technical team supported 217 matches with zero technical incidents.

Ahead of the 20th Asian Games, ECS underwent three test events between January and June 2026 in Japan, Singapore and Vietnam. These provided opportunities for the technical team to test and validate the solution across different venues, competition environments and network conditions.

The team subsequently moved into the Asian Games venue earlier this month to conduct integrated system testing ahead of the official competition.

“Esports entering multi-sport events means that its competition processes need to align with the standards of fairness established across traditional sports,” said Yati Zhang, Director of Tencent Esports. “ECS translates areas that have traditionally relied on manual experience, such as equipment checks, live monitoring and officiating support, into technical processes that can be recorded, traced and reviewed. We hope ECS can serve beyond a single event and provide a reusable technical foundation for esports competitions across Asia and other competitive environments.”

Developing Infrastructure for Esports Beyond a Single Event

The deployment of ECS also reflects the growing focus on building more standardised competition infrastructure as esports becomes further integrated into Asia’s wider sporting ecosystem.

As part of the Olympic Council of Asia’s (OCA) 10-year strategic partnership with Tencent Esports from 2025 to 2035, OCA Director General Husain Al-Musallam has highlighted the evolution of Asian esports from “event participation” towards a new phase centred on “co-building technology and systems”.

“As esports continues to develop across Asia, establishing more standardised and institutionalised competition systems will be an important long-term direction,” said Husain Al-Musallam, Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia. “The adoption of Tencent Esports’ Competition Solution at the Asian Games represents another step towards this goal. We hope this collaboration can contribute to the development of competition systems, technical standards and the wider esports ecosystem, helping establish an Asian benchmark for the sport.

With ECS deployed across all 11 esports events at the 20th Asian Games, Tencent Esports is extending its role beyond supporting individual competitions towards developing technical infrastructure that can be applied across increasingly complex esports environments.

The Asian Games deployment will provide another large-scale test of how standardised technical solutions can support esports within a multi-sport setting.

IN AGGIORNAMENTO

In aggiornamento

Volterra gusto

I centogusti dell’Appennino

Appian also named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) report

LONDON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Appian (Nasdaq: APPN) today announced it has ranked #1 for the Deterministic Workflow Automation Use Case and Platform Consolidation Use Case in the 2026 Gartner Critical Capabilities™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) report. In addition, Appian is once again a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) report based on its Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute.

The BOAT market is seeing immense traction driven by evolving automation needs as organisations shift from task automation to agentic automation and address the growing proliferation of AI agents across the enterprise.

According to Gartner, “By 2030, 70% of enterprises will pivot to a consolidated automation platform that orchestrates business processes, AI agents, bots, APIs and human actions, up from 10% today.” Gartner evaluated 20 vendors across five common use cases for BOAT. Of the vendors recognised as a Leader, Appian was the only vendor among the highest three for all five use cases, and the highest scoring vendor for the Platform Operations and Governance Critical Capability.

We believe Appian enables organisations to orchestrate complex operations with AI, systems, and people. The Appian Platform unifies critical BOAT capabilities, including process orchestration, data, AI agents, robotic process automation (RPA), rules, intelligent document processing (IDP) and AI-assisted low-code application development.

Large enterprises and governments use Appian to automate their most important business processes.

“We’re automating manual work, orchestrating processes, and reducing complex operational cycles from weeks down to minutes on the Appian Platform. Appian gen AI provides an opportunity for us to continue delivering against our strategic plans. The more innovation that we do, the better tools that we can give to our policy owners, the faster they can deliver to their patients.” — Sheila Evans, Chief Product and Solutions Officer, MagMutual

Appian’s key platform capabilities evaluated in the reports include:

As a recognised enterprise software vendor in process, data, and AI with more than 25 years of customer success, we believe the Appian Platform provides enterprise-grade resilience and scale.

“AI must operate with reliability when running high-stakes operational processes,” said Sanat Joshi, Executive Vice President of Product at Appian. “By embedding AI agents directly within structured, deterministic process models, we believe Appian gives AI the exact goals, precise context, and guardrails to execute complex work safely. This recognition as a Leader from Gartner validates our vision for serious enterprise AI, built on process.”

Huawei Launches Fintelligent AI Solution to Help Global Financial Institutions Realize “Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Built on the financial-grade open-source agent platform openJiuwen and open compute infrastructure, Huawei builds Agent Factory, Token Factory, and Data-Knowledge Factory to accelerate production-grade agent deployment at scale.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei hosted a Global Finance Summit. Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU, delivered a keynote titled “Owning Your AI, Advancing Agentic Banking,” presenting the proposition “Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence” to global financial customers and launching the Huawei Fintelligent AI Solution worldwide.

The solution focuses on key challenges facing large-scale AI deployment in the global financial industry, including security, scalability, and sustainability. It helps financial institutions build a new capability system and, through three intelligent factories — Agent Factory, Token Factory, and Data-Knowledge Factory — continuously build and evolve their enterprise AI architecture, one-stop agent foundation, banking domain intelligence, and full-lifecycle Token operations, accelerating the transition to Agentic Finance.

Jason Cao said, “Competition in financial AI is shifting from model capability to enterprise-wide AI system capability. Every financial institution should own its AI and keep the choice and evolution of AI in its own hands. Truly owning your AI is not about using a particular model or deploying a few AI applications. It means being able to choose independently, operate securely, replicate at scale, and continuously evolve your AI capabilities. Through open architecture, platforms, and compute, Huawei will work with customers and partners to bring AI at scale into core business operations and accelerate the transition to Agentic Finance.”

Agent Factory scales AI into an enterprise-wide capability; Token Factory delivers a better price-performance ratio and sustainable full-lifecycle Token management; and Data-Knowledge Factory accumulates knowledge assets to enable financial institutions to build intelligence as an internal capability. Together, the three intelligent factories connect data, knowledge, Tokens, and agent capabilities.

Agent Factory focuses on helping banks build, run, and manage agents at scale, enabling AI capabilities to move from isolated applications to enterprise-wide intelligence while supporting the accumulation, reuse, and unified management of agent assets.

openJiuwen is an open-source agent platform designed for multi-agent collaboration, with enterprise-grade reliability and compute affinity. Built on a financial-grade production kernel, it provides three core capabilities: stable long-running operations, financial-grade components, and one-stop development and operations. openJiuwen provides a unified enterprise foundation, enabling financial institutions to build, run, manage, and govern agents on the same agent platform.

Huawei launched TokeNexus, a full-lifecycle Token operations solution covering Token planning, efficient production, intelligent scheduling, and global optimization, enabling unified operations and management across the entire Token lifecycle. Through end-to-end integrated governance, TokeNexus helps financial institutions scale AI while keeping costs controllable, performance reliable, and supply sustainable.

Huawei proposes the Data-Knowledge Factory, which transforms bank data, documents, and rules into knowledge that agents can understand, trust, and invoke, gradually accumulating it into each bank’s own Domain Intelligence.

At the summit, Huawei launched the Financial Agentic Data Solution. Centered on data and knowledge pipelines, the solution provides financial agents with high-quality data and knowledge, allowing high-value data and knowledge to flow continuously to agents. Building on this evolution, the Data-Knowledge Factory establishes a systematic upgrade path from data supply to knowledge supply.

Huawei’s AI Coding Solution adopts an ontology-centric approach to transform valuable business rules hidden in legacy-system code into reusable knowledge assets that AI can understand and use, accelerating core modernization.

At the summit, Huawei also joined representatives from banking, insurance, securities, and industry partners to unveil the 2026 Huawei Global Financial Lighthouse, highlighting nine lighthouse practices and providing reference cases for digital and intelligent transformation across the global financial industry.

Huawei has been deeply engaged in the financial industry for 16 years. To date, it has served more than 7,100 financial customers across over 80 countries and regions, including 54 of the world’s top 100 banks.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, the Global Education Summit themed “AI × Education: Building the Talent Foundation for the Digital & Intelligent Era” was successfully held in Shanghai. At the summit, Huawei officially launched the AI Practice LAB (AIPL) Solution globally, and simultaneously released the “AI+ Practical Teaching White Paper” (referred to as the “White Paper”).

As AI-driven education transformation gains momentum, the conventional theoretical teaching model can no longer meet the industry’s demand for practical capabilities, making AI talent cultivation a top priority for higher education. Drawing on its extensive experience across various industries, Huawei has introduced the AIPL Solution, which is centered around real-world scenarios, real data, and real algorithms. This solution aims to bridge the gap between conventional theoretical teaching and industry needs by introducing real-world industry cases, anonymized data, and engineering tools into teaching practices, helping universities cultivate AI professionals who are truly aligned with industry needs.

Tao Jingwen, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Huawei, noted that together with the education sector and industry enterprises, Huawei have integrated AI technology to jointly deepen our exploration of practical education models. We have built “roads” and “bridges” in theoretical learning, practice, and scientific research innovation. Huawei will continue to remain deeply rooted in the education sector, adopting an open approach to collaborate with global universities, research institutions, and industry partners, empowering the digital and intelligent transformation of the education sector through technological innovation.

At the summit, Li Junfeng, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Global Public Sector BU; Pang Chuanchun, Director of Huawei’s Learning & Certification Services Dept; He Lian, Vice President of Wuhan University; Xue Guangtao, Director of Network & Information Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University jointly launched the Huawei AIPL Solution to the world.

Currently, in collaboration with 12 baseline partners, the solution has been used to build AI practical teaching solutions and has been deployed at multiple universities, including Beijing Institute of Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This global launch aims to promote the concept and solution of AI practice worldwide, fostering the cultivation of AI innovation talents globally.

At the summit, Huawei, together with multiple universities and partners, released the “AI+ Practical Teaching White Paper”.
The white paper systematically elaborates the theoretical logic and practical pathways for restructuring higher education talent cultivation paradigms in the AI era. Focusing on the core topic of “AI + practical teaching”, it proposes a transformation reference framework featuring “one foundation, two types of elements, three levels of courses, four-dimensional evaluation, and a five-party ecosystem.” This framework aims to provide a systematic, pragmatic, and actionable guide for university administrators, frontline teachers, education researchers, and industry professionals.

Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to work closely with universities and partners to strengthen the digital and intelligent foundation of the education industry and promote the replication of the AIPL model across multiple disciplines. By empowering education with technology and cultivating talent through hands-on practice, Huawei will transform cutting-edge industry technologies and real-world business scenarios into educational resources for practical training, smart teaching, smart campus, and research innovation. In this way, high-quality educational resources will be more widely shared.

Hive Box Partners with Stasher to Expand Smart Luggage Storage Services in Europe

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Hive Box

SHENZHEN, China, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Recently, Hive Box ( https://hive-box.com/ ), a smart parcel locker operator, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in London with Stasher ( https://stasher.com/ ), a global luggage storage platform. The two companies will jointly promote the deployment of smart luggage storage lockers in the UK and Europe. The first batch of lockers has already been put into operation in cities including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

A Media Snippet accompanying this announcement is available by clicking on this link.

Hive Box is a leading provider of last-mile logistics solutions, with more than 400,000 smart locker units deployed worldwide, covering 236,000 communities. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in London, Stasher provides luggage storage services in more than 1,200 cities, with over 10,000 storage locations. The company has established partnerships with hotels, shops and travel platforms, providing travelers with luggage storage options in destinations around the world. The cooperation also extends to investment. Hive Box will make a strategic investment of £1 million in Stasher to accelerate the deployment of the smart locker network in the UK and Europe, helping hotels and other businesses provide 24-hour luggage storage services in new ways.

Deepening Cooperation to Expand Smart Storage Services in European Travel Scenarios

Under the partnership, an initial batch of 100 smart luggage storage lockers will be deployed and launched in the UK, primarily at hotels, railway stations, airports and tourist centers. The number of jointly deployed lockers is expected to increase to 1,000 or more in the future.

For hotels, idle lobby space can be transformed into self-service luggage storage points, providing a new way to offer luggage storage services without requiring dedicated staff. For travelers, luggage can be stored and retrieved by scanning a QR code, without being restricted by front-desk operating hours.

The partnership goes beyond equipment deployment. Stasher has a broad storage network and local market resources, while Hive Box brings strong capabilities in smart locker hardware development and large-scale deployment. Orders and user traffic from Stasher will be fulfilled through Hive Box’s self-service locker network. The two companies will also continue to deepen cooperation in operations, scenario expansion and localized services, jointly promoting the deployment of smart luggage storage services in the European market.

Addressing Luggage Storage Challenges in Europe

Luggage storage is a frequent need for travelers, yet supply across the European market remains uneven. Some major railway stations have removed on-site lockers due to security considerations. Manual luggage storage counters often have limited opening hours, requiring travelers to adapt their plans around service availability. Hotel luggage storage is typically managed by front-desk staff, making service availability dependent on staff capacity.

The smart luggage storage lockers introduced through the partnership are designed to address these challenges. For travelers, luggage can be stored and collected simply by scanning a QR code, with 24/7 access free from the limitations of staffed service hours. The self-service process makes luggage storage more convenient while allowing travelers greater flexibility when arranging their trips.

For hotels, shops and other venues, the lockers can turn underused spaces such as lobbies and retail areas into self-service luggage storage points. This reduces the need for on-site staff to handle luggage while creating an additional source of service revenue.

By combining Stasher’s local luggage storage network with Hive Box’s capabilities in smart locker hardware development and large-scale deployment, the two companies will bring smart luggage storage services to more users. Looking ahead, Hive Box will continue to work with more international partners to explore diverse application scenarios and promote the deployment of its service capabilities in global markets.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

XUZHOU, China, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — XCMG, a global construction machinery manufacturer, launched the Hanjing, its next-generation new energy heavy truck on Sept. 20. Designed for long-haul, cross-regional freight, the truck addresses key priorities for logistics operators, including range, charging speed, uptime and lifecycle operating efficiency.

XCMG began developing the Hanjing in 2023, visiting major freight hubs and working with large logistics companies to identify requirements for range, charging, efficiency and reliability. XCMG engineers then focused on the electric powertrain, centralized thermal management, torque distribution and regenerative braking to optimize the truck for real-world long-haul operations.

The Hanjing features a low-drag cab, a proprietary integrated electric drive axle and intelligent controls designed to reduce energy consumption. Its 800-volt architecture supports megawatt-class fast charging, taking the battery from 20% to 80% in under 20 minutes. The Hanjing combines a body constructed with 1,500-MPa hot-stamped steel with multiple battery thermal-protection systems to enhance vehicle and battery safety. A central domain controller, highway navigation-assisted driving and a digital cockpit support drivers on long-haul routes.

Before launch, the Hanjing underwent extreme-heat, extreme-cold, high-altitude, water-fording and crash testing. It also completed a 24-hour endurance test at the Yancheng proving ground, covering 2,198 kilometers at a fully loaded gross vehicle weight of 49 tons and demonstrating its performance under demanding long-haul, heavy-load operating conditions.

XCMG also provides charging infrastructure, connected fleet management and lifecycle services, giving operators an integrated system for managing vehicles, charging and day-to-day operations. Its connected-vehicle platform allows fleet operators to monitor vehicle status and energy consumption and plan vehicle selection and charging around their routes.

From January through July 2026, XCMG ranked first in China in sales of both new energy heavy trucks and new energy tractors. The company has ranked first nationwide in new energy heavy-truck sales for three consecutive years. XCMG trucks are also sold in Indonesia, Thailand, Guinea and other African markets. One major Indonesian mining customer ordered an additional 100 vehicles after purchasing more than 150 600-kWh 8×4 battery-new energy dump trucks.

Ahead of the launch, XCMG showcased new energy commercial vehicles and transportation solutions for construction and logistics at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany. XCMG will continue adapting products to local regulations, road conditions and operating practices, expanding new energy heavy trucks beyond fixed routes and short-haul operations to a broader range of long-haul applications.
