The bunkering ceremony at Shanghai Yangshan Port was titled “Green Fueled Globe, Lead the Future”. 

The principal biomethanol supplier for this operation was Shanghai Electric’s Taonan green methanol project. This operation not only marks a significant breakthrough in supply volume but also indicates that the Taonan project is fulfilling stable production and large-scale deliveries. 

Behind this success lies a fully connected interprovincial green fuel supply chain that serves as the core support. At the Shanghai International Shipping Green Fuel Sustainable‑Development Conference held on June 30 this year, Shanghai, Jilin and Liaoning officially launched the joint‑built green‑fuel transportation corridor. It establishes the north‑to‑south methanol shipment route: production at the Taonan project in Jilin, transit and storage at Dalian Port and final bunkering at Shanghai Port. 

As the core production capacity base of the transportation corridor, Shanghai Electric’s Taonan green methanol project draws on Jilin’s abundant local wind and solar resources as well as biomass feedstock. Deploying independently‑developed full‑set process systems and core equipment, the facility is the world’s first large‑scale plant manufacturing biomethanol by combining green electricity and biomass. FIRENZE – Tutto pronto per il fischio d’inizio della 47esima edizione del Torneo Internazionale Nereo Rocco, prestigiosa rassegna calcistica riservata alla categoria Allievi che animerà i campi fiorentini dal 22 al 26 agosto. A consuntivo dei viaggi del 2026, l’analisi condotta dal portale Holidu traccia un bilancio sulle preferenze turistiche nazionali, stilando la classifica delle trenta destinazioni più ricercate per Ferragosto e analizzandone i relativi prezzi medi.

La mappa degli spostamenti conferma l’attrattiva della costa toscana, capace di piazzare tre località balneari all’interno della graduatoria. A guidare la rappresentanza regionale è Castiglione della Pescaia, che si posiziona al ventitreesimo posto generale facendo registrare un costo medio di 292 euro. Scorrendo la classifica si incontra poi Follonica, ventiseiesima con una media di 229 euro, mentre a chiudere il terzetto toscano ci pensa San Vincenzo, che occupa la ventinovesima piazza a fronte di un prezzo medio pari a 287 euro.

MEXICO CITY, 18 August 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mapuche Williche communities from southern Chile have filed a complaint in Norway against Statkraft AS, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy, under the Norwegian Transparency Act. The complaint was submitted by the Aylla Rewe del Ngen Mapu Kintuantü, with support from ProDESC and the Initiative for Transnational Justice (IJT). 

The Aylla Rewe del Ngen Mapu Kintuantü is an autonomous Mapuche Williche organization representing more than 150 communities in the Pilmaiquén River basin and surrounding areas. For over a decade, it has defended their territory, water, sacred sites and collective rights in the face of large-scale hydropower development. 

The complaint asks the Norwegian Consumer Authority to investigate whether Statkraft complied with its human rights due diligence obligations in connection with the Rucatayo plant and Los Lagos hydropower project. The communities raise concerns regarding free, prior and informed consent, cultural and spiritual rights, the safety and integrity of women, children and human rights defenders, and the risk of irreversible harm linked to the possible flooding of culturally significant territory. 

For the Mapuche Williche, the Pilmaiquén River is a living and sacred territory tied to ancestral memory, healing practices and ceremonial life, centered around the Ngen Mapu Kintuantü. 

“This complaint is not only a legal action; it is a call to protect life, memory and our sacred territory. We ask Norway to listen to our word and to act before the damage becomes irreversible,” said Machi Millaray Huichalaf, Mapuche spiritual authority and representative of the Aylla Rewe. 

Because Statkraft is wholly owned by the Norwegian state, the case also questions how Norway’s human rights commitments are being applied and how its state-owned companies operate abroad. The complainants are asking the Consumer Authority to prioritize its review given the potential for irreversible harm. Knut Hurum, who previously represented the Sami people in the landmark Fosen case, is the legal advisor to the complainants in Norway. 

Next month, Machi Millaray and other Mapuche Williche representatives plan to travel to Norway. They will seek meetings with Norwegian authorities, Indigenous and civil society organizations, and will be available for in-person interviews with Norwegian and international media.
