ROMA – Il debito pubblico italiano supera per la prima volta la soglia dei 3.200 miliardi di euro e raggiunge un nuovo massimo storico. A giugno 2026 l’esposizione complessiva delle amministrazioni pubbliche si è attestata a 3.207,2 miliardi, con un aumento di 26,2 miliardi rispetto al mese precedente.

Il dato emerge dall’ultima rilevazione della Banca d’Italia dedicata a fabbisogno e debito delle amministrazioni pubbliche. A maggio il debito era pari a 3.181 miliardi, livello che aveva già segnato un nuovo record.

Ancora più significativo è il confronto su base annuale: rispetto a giugno 2025, il debito è cresciuto di circa 136 miliardi. Dalla fine del 2025, quando si attestava intorno ai 3.096 miliardi, l’incremento ha invece superato i 111 miliardi.

Numeri che non equivalgono automaticamente a una valutazione complessiva della politica economica del governo, ma che rendono più difficile sostenere una rappresentazione interamente rassicurante dello stato dei conti pubblici. La riduzione dello spread e la fiducia dei mercati restano elementi importanti, ma non cancellano una massa debitoria che continua ad aumentare.

L’incremento registrato a giugno è legato a più fattori. Il fabbisogno delle amministrazioni pubbliche è stato pari a circa 13,3 miliardi, mentre le disponibilità liquide del Tesoro sono aumentate di quasi 9,8 miliardi, passando da 51,9 a 61,7 miliardi. La parte restante deriva da scarti e premi di emissione, rivalutazioni dei titoli indicizzati all’inflazione e variazioni dei tassi di cambio.

L’aumento mensile del debito non corrisponde quindi integralmente a nuova spesa o a un disavanzo dello stesso importo. Il superamento dei 3200 miliardi conserva tuttavia un forte valore economico e politico, soprattutto perché conferma una tendenza che prosegue nonostante le dichiarazioni di prudenza e disciplina sui conti pubblici.

Cambia anche la distribuzione dei soggetti che detengono il debito italiano. La quota in mano alla Banca d’Italia è scesa dal 17,2 al 16,7 per cento, mentre a maggio — ultimo dato disponibile — quella detenuta dai non residenti era salita dal 35,7 al 35,9 per cento. Nello stesso periodo, la quota riferibile agli altri residenti, principalmente famiglie e imprese non finanziarie, era diminuita dal 14,7 al 14,5 per cento.

Il dato assoluto, da solo, non permette comunque di stabilire la sostenibilità dei conti. Per una valutazione completa occorre considerare anche il rapporto tra debito e prodotto interno lordo, la crescita dell’economia, il costo medio degli interessi e la durata dei titoli emessi. Resta però evidente che una crescita del debito più rapida di quella dell’economia finirebbe per restringere progressivamente gli spazi disponibili per investimenti, servizi e riduzione della pressione fiscale.

Il nuovo record arriva così come un richiamo alla concretezza. Al di là della narrazione politica, il peso del debito continua a rappresentare uno dei principali vincoli strutturali dell’Italia. La vera prova per l’esecutivo non sarà soltanto mantenere la fiducia dei mercati, ma dimostrare di saper invertire la tendenza senza trasferire il costo dell’aggiustamento su famiglie e imprese.

LUCCA – Un uomo di 30 anni, cittadino di origine marocchina, è stato arrestato la scorsa notte a Lucca con l’accusa di detenzione ai fini di spaccio. L’operazione è stata condotta dagli agenti della Squadra Volante della Questura cittadina durante i consueti servizi di monitoraggio del territorio.

L’intervento ha avuto inizio in piazza Santa Maria, dove i poliziotti hanno fermato il giovane per un controllo. L’atteggiamento sospetto mostrato dal trentenne, che risultava già noto alle forze dell’ordine per precedenti reati legati agli stupefacenti, ha spinto gli agenti ad approfondire le verifiche con una perquisizione sul posto. Addosso all’uomo sono state trovate cinque dosi di cocaina già confezionate e pronte per la vendita al minuto, insieme a una rilevante somma di denaro in banconote di piccolo taglio, ritenuta il probabile incasso dell’attività illecita.

A seguito del primo ritrovamento, l’operazione si è spostata all’interno dell’abitazione dell’indagato. La perquisizione domiciliare ha permesso di recuperare ulteriore cocaina, portando il totale della sostanza sequestrata a oltre 23 grammi. Nella casa sono stati inoltre rinvenuti due telefoni cellulari e il materiale necessario per pesare e confezionare lo stupefacente.

Il giovane è stato dichiarato in arresto in flagranza di reato ed è stato trattenuto nelle camere di sicurezza della Questura. Attualmente si trova a disposizione dell’Autorità Giudiziaria in attesa di essere giudicato con rito direttissimo.

The investment will be made through CVC DIF Value Add IV. CUBE Infrastructure is the seller. Completion of the transaction is expected by the end of September 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. 

Founded in 2007, firstcolo is an established data centre and digital infrastructure partner in the Frankfurt metropolitan region. The company operates two data centres in the region and serves more than 350 customers with colocation, dedicated hardware, cloud, connectivity and managed services. Its business model combines highly available, certified infrastructure with direct technical support and personal points of contact. 

The partnership with CVC DIF provides the foundation for firstcolo to implement its next phase of growth. The initial focus is the FRA7 greenfield project in Rosbach vor der Höhe, within the Frankfurt metropolitan region. The facility will provide up to 24 MW of total capacity, equivalent to up to 16 MW of IT load, and is designed to support demanding artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and cloud workloads. 

FRA7 is being planned as an AI-ready data centre from the outset. The infrastructure is designed for liquid-cooled high-density racks supporting up to 200 kW per rack. La Regione Toscana ha stanziato un fondo di 9,3 milioni di euro per finanziare percorsi di formazione professionale mirati a facilitare l’inserimento lavorativo nei settori chiave dell’economia locale. La misura, supportata dalle risorse europee del programma Fse+ 2021-2027, si articola in undici avvisi pubblici e si rivolge a persone disoccupate, soggetti inattivi e lavoratori in cassa integrazione straordinaria (Cigs) con una riduzione dell’orario pari o superiore al 50%.

L’iniziativa punta a colmare la distanza tra le competenze possedute da chi cerca impiego e le reali necessità delle aziende, riducendo quel disallineamento noto agli addetti ai lavori come ‘skills mismatch’. I corsi riguarderanno gli ambiti produttivi considerati più strategici per il territorio, tra cui artigianato, moda, metallurgia, meccanica, turismo e trasporti. L’individuazione di questi comparti deriva da uno studio dell’Irpet, che ha valutato la capacità di generare nuova occupazione, la qualità delle posizioni lavorative e i livelli di competitività.

Un’attenzione specifica è riservata alle grandi trasformazioni del mercato. I percorsi formativi accompagneranno i partecipanti anche verso la transizione digitale ed ecologica, abbracciando comparti in espansione come la ‘green’ e la ‘blue economy’ e stimolando l’aggiornamento tecnologico.

Sul fronte operativo, l’organizzazione dei corsi è affidata agli enti formativi accreditati, che potranno presentare i propri progetti, anche in associazione o in partnership con le aziende stesse, entro la scadenza del 30 settembre 2026. Per i cittadini interessati a frequentare le lezioni, l’avvio delle attività in aula è previsto nei primi mesi del 2027.

A inquadrare la ratio della manovra è il presidente della Regione, Eugenio Giani: “Si tratta di un investimento significativo che conferma il nostro pieno impegno per una formazione capace di guardare al futuro e di rispondere alle esigenze concrete del nostro sistema produttivo”.

La Toscana investe per costruire percorsi capaci di rispondere concretamente ai fabbisogni delle imprese, aiutando le persone ad acquisire professionalità che oggi sono richieste e spesso difficili da reperire. Launched in 2006, the KAILAS Mountain Adventure Project has supported Chinese climbers in exploring unclimbed peaks, developing new routes and documenting first-hand mountain experience. Over the past 20 years, the project has witnessed the progression of Chinese climbing — from learning and following established routes to creating new lines and exploring unknown terrain.

Under the agreement, Olympus will serve as the exclusive global distributor of the Endocision platform designed to support a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures. Olympus and Endocision expect commercial launch in the U.S., Canada and Europe early next year. 

The agreement will expand and enhance Olympus’ respiratory portfolio, which includes endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) that plays a key role in the visualization and biopsy of lung tissue and lymph nodes.

Cryocatheter system offers portability, versatility 

The system’s portable design does not require an electric source or large CO2 tanks to operate, expanding access to cryobiopsy and cryoextraction into multiple care settings throughout the hospital such as bronchoscopy suites, ICUs, operating rooms and emergency departments. 

Cryotechnology has become an important tool in interventional pulmonology and thoracic endoscopy, supporting both tissue acquisition and therapeutic airway interventions. Clinical applications may include transbronchial cryobiopsy for tissue acquisition, cryoextraction of foreign bodies, blood clots, and mucus plugs, as well as endobronchial tumor debulking and airway recanalization procedures. 

Published studies have demonstrated that cryobiopsy can provide larger tissue specimens with less compression-related tissue damage (reduced crush artifact) compared with conventional forceps biopsy, potentially supporting histopathologic and molecular analyses.1

SEATTLE, Aug. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A new report from Nia Tero — an international non-profit focused on strengthening Indigenous Peoples’ guardianship of ancestral lands and waters — examines how fragmentation across the Rio Conventions limits Indigenous Peoples’ meaningful influence in global environmental decision-making. 

The report, “Beyond Fragmentation: Advancing Coherence, Equity, and Indigenous Leadership Across the Rio Conventions,” will formally launch at the 17th Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), taking place from August 17 to 28 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, at a side event focused on strengthening coherence across the Rio Conventions. 

The three Rio Conventions — the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) — emerged from the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

They are the main global frameworks addressing biodiversity loss, climate change, and land degradation, environmental crises that Indigenous Peoples have long perceived as interconnected. 

“For Indigenous Peoples, climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation are deeply connected and result from an imbalanced relationship between people and the earth. However, the three Rio Conventions address these issues separately, making it harder for Indigenous representatives to participate in meaningful ways,” said Minnie Degawan (Kankanaey-Igorot, Philippines), Indigenous policy expert and author of the report. 

Drawing on two years of dialogue with Indigenous leaders and representatives, as well as observations from negotiations and institutional analysis, the report offers recommendations for States, Convention secretariats, funders, and Indigenous caucuses to strengthen coordination and ensure Indigenous Peoples’ knowledge, priorities, and leadership help shape global environmental governance. 

With all three Rio Conventions holding conferences in 2026, the report points to a rare opportunity to align global action on interconnected environmental crises.

L’agenzia regionale per le erogazioni in agricoltura (Artea) ha autorizzato pagamenti per oltre 60 milioni di euro a favore di più di 21.200 aziende agricole toscane. Si tratta di un anticipo sui contributi previsti dalla Politica Agricola Comune (PAC) per la campagna 2026.

L’erogazione della somma, che ammonta con precisione a 60.982.524,85 euro, è stata resa possibile dall’applicazione di una deroga comunitaria. Il regolamento europeo in materia consente infatti di innalzare le quote degli anticipi al 75% per gli aiuti diretti alle imprese e fino all’85% per i fondi di sviluppo rurale, destinati al finanziamento degli investimenti. I fondi immessi nel sistema economico regionale rappresentano circa il 40% delle risorse complessive previste per l’intera campagna, che in Toscana si aggirano mediamente intorno ai 156 milioni di euro.

La procedura ha permesso di anticipare i tempi di accredito, solitamente programmati per la metà del mese di ottobre. I pagamenti, che arriveranno in modo diretto sui conti correnti delle aziende agricole, proseguiranno gradualmente fino al prossimo 30 novembre, parallelamente allo svolgimento dei controlli tecnici previsti dalle normative di settore.

L’obiettivo della Regione è immettere rapidamente liquidità nel comparto per sostenere le imprese di fronte ai rincari energetici, ai cambiamenti climatici e alle conseguenze delle tensioni internazionali. Il presidente della Regione, Eugenio Giani, ha inquadrato la misura spiegando la volontà di sfruttare la flessibilità concessa dall’Unione Europea: “Garantire liquidità immediata alle nostre imprese agricole in piena estate, superando i tradizionali vincoli temporali burocratici, significa difendere le nostre eccellenze, preservare i posti di lavoro e tutelare l’identità stessa dei nostri territori”.

Sul peso economico dell’operazione è intervenuto anche l’assessore all’agricoltura, Leonardo Marras, che ha ricordato il ruolo del settore agricolo sul fronte dell’occupazione e della tutela ambientale. “Accelerare questi flussi finanziari significa dare stabilità economica e certezza operativa a più di 21mila imprese, permettendo loro di programmare gli investimenti e resistere alle fluttuazioni dei costi di produzione”, ha dichiarato Marras.

Un focus specifico riguarda i nuovi imprenditori del settore. Come evidenziato dal sottosegretario alla presidenza Bernard Dika, i giovani agricoltori sono spesso la categoria più esposta alle carenze di liquidità durante i primi anni di attività. “Sapere che i sostegni della Domanda Unica e i premi complementari arrivano in anticipo”, ha commentato Dika, “rappresenta per le nuove generazioni un incentivo reale a non mollare e a continuare a scommettere sul proprio futuro”.
