COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BAODING, CHINA – Media OutReach Newswire – 3 May 2026 – During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, GWM hosted a Tech Day event, opening its global safety and testing complex to hundreds of international journalists and overseas dealers, who engaged in in-depth exchanges with engineers. No staged demos, no polished pitches—only real engineering: black electromagnetic absorbers, a 120ton rotating crash barrier, and an ORA 5 undergoing a 60 km/h side impact in full view of witnesses.

Frontier Tech in Focus: Global Media Eagerly Inquire About Rollout Timelines

During the Tech Day event, technical experts from GWM delivered in-depth technical analyses on all-scenario intelligent driving, next-generation smart cockpits, and the Hi4 powertrain family. The smart cockpit, powered by the Coffee OS 3 system, stood out with its five defining qualities – ” Good-looking, Easy to Use, Fun to Use, Pleasant to Hear, and Highly Intelligent.” GWM’s driver assistance system also earned strong acclaim for its forward-looking design and broad adaptability, particularly its thorough consideration of global regulations, local driving habits, scenario adaptability, and data localization strategies–a clear reflection of GWM’s global R&D vision. Meanwhile, the Hi4 powertrain family impressed attendees with its all-scenario capability and exceptional performance. Throughout the event, media representatives from various countries and regions eagerly inquired about the local rollout plans and timelines for these cutting-edge technologies.

A Foundation of Self-Reliance: Power and Validation Built In-House

Technical confidence starts with self‑developed power. Based on its Forest Ecosystem architecture, GWM has independently created 4.0T V8 and 3.0T V6 engines plus advanced diesel hybrid systems. To prove safety rather than just claim it, GWM built China’s first independent comprehensive proving ground, high‑altitude simulation lab, and climatic wind tunnel, forming a full‑life‑cycle validation system for global markets.

Launched in 2025, the GWM Safety Lab represents a 510‑million‑yuan investment across 57,000 square meters, serving as the core of a nearly 10‑billion‑yuan testing ecosystem. Global media experienced the facility with no guided script, seeing authentic validation rather than curated showcases.

Core Labs: Engineering Excellence Behind Every Detail

Inside the EMC Chamber, full shielding and wave‑absorbing materials enable 360‑degree testing with all electronic systems active. GWM’s internal standard limits electromagnetic radiation to less than one‑fifth of the national legal requirement. The 30‑million‑yuan NVH anechoic chamber uses a double‑layer room‑in‑room structure to reach 20 dB.

The 300‑million‑yuan climatic wind tunnel covers 2,800 square meters, simulating ‑40°C to 60°C, 5%–95% humidity, and winds up to 250 km/h. “To use the same calibration in the Middle East and Northern Europe without validation is gambling, not engineering,” a senior engineer noted,”Every GWM vehicle passes extreme cold, heat, and humidity tests before market launch. ”

Crash Test Center: Where Every Millisecond Defines Safety

GWM’s crash lab supports Euro NCAP, C‑NCAP, and FMVSS standards. In the Multi‑Angle Crash Zone, the high-speed camera captures 4,000 frames per second, allowing it to clearly record the trajectory of a bullet’s movement. In this way, engineers can split the 0.1-second crash into hundreds of parts and observe and analyze them frame by frame. Below the track, a glass‑covered camera pit captures underbody deformation in real time.

The 120‑ton moving deformable barrier withstands a 3.5‑ton vehicle crashing at 80 km/h. In the laboratory. It is possible to simulate vehicle collisions with guardrails on both sides of the highway, as well as full-scenario drop and rollover conditions for both left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles. “Rollover risk is deadly, so we test more rigorously than any other brand,” an engineer explained.

The AEB pre‑collision track simulates real‑world “brake then crash” conditions to ensure restraints and airbags work in sync. The New Energy Safety Zone manages thermal runaway with automated submergence in 30 seconds and AI firefighting for severe cases. GWM’s 34 high‑precision crash dummies include $1.7‑million THOR units and $1.1‑million WorldSID side‑impact units. “Dummies are not props—they define life‑saving boundaries,” engineers stressed.

ORA 5 Euro NCAP Test: Five-Star Safety Ready for Europe

In the on-site side impact test referencing Euro NCAP, the ORA 5 destined for Europe was struck at 60 km/h with one adult and two child dummies. The vehicle moved 5 meters, activated hazard lights, showed zero fuel leakage, and kept doors closed for occupant protection.

With 75% high‑strength steel, 2,000‑MPa submarine‑grade A‑pillars, 1,500‑MPa door beams, full‑coverage airbags, and adaptive seatbelts, the ORA 5 is on track for a Euro NCAP five‑star safety rating.

Strategic Vision: Trust, Safety and Tech Sovereignty

By opening its labs transparently, GWM builds global trust with tangible engineering rather than marketing. Safety validation clears regional barriers for Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America, enabling synchronized global launches.

Full‑stack self‑developed systems, industry‑first rotating barriers, and exclusive rollover testing mark GWM’s shift from adopting global tools to defining global standards.

As one senior dealer commented: “This is exactly what we needed to see.”

GWM’s global safety promise is clear: safety built on data, proven in labs, trusted worldwide.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

GUANGZHOU, China, May 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — At the exhibition area of the 139th Canton Fair’s Toys & Children, Baby and Maternity Products category, exhibitors are presenting products that merge smart technology, educational value and sustainable materials, responding to the evolving expectations of global families seeking safe, creative, and smart parenting solutions.

Parenting products have put a focus on smart, multi-functional design. An intelligent soothing pendant uses voice recognition to detect a baby’s cry and automatically play music, while a self-rotating smart car seat improves convenience of use by automatic turning.

Further innovations emphasize convenience and integrated care. A wireless diaper-changing baby scale combines multiple functions for daily care and health monitoring, alongside an electric cradle and a one-touch foldable crib that enable effortless setup and hands-free parenting.

Newly released products highlight the educational wooden toys sector’s momentum. A miniature wooden kitchen set, crafted from FSC certified natural wood and coated with water-based paint, meets major international safety standards and supports early life skills development. Alongside it, an ocean themed multifunctional play table introduces a modular approach to early learning. Built from natural wood and finished with food grade coatings and rounded edges, the table integrates geometric cognition, musical exploration, and logic training. It represents a meaningful step in the evolution of traditional wooden toys toward more interactive early education tools.

Sustainability remains a defining thread across the category. A series of thick wooden puzzles illustrates how recycled materials can be developed into durable, affordable and educational products. Made with a significant proportion of medium‑density fiberboard derived from reclaimed wood fibers, the puzzles reflect efficient resource use while demonstrating how manufacturers integrate function, durability and cost‑effectiveness into their design considerations. Their handcrafted texture and cultural warmth further underscore a commitment to greener, more responsible production.

In an age shaped by AI and diversified consumption needs, traditional maternity and child product makers are finding fresh relevance. While preserving an emotional warmth, they are introducing smart interaction, joyful educational design, and greener materials, giving the classic category a modern spark and renewing its appeal for today’s families.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

GUANGZHOU, China, May 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) has rolled out nine newly established product zones. Phase 3 features an expanded and upgraded Intelligent Healthcare zone and the inaugural presentation of a Functional & Technical Fabrics zone.

The upgraded Intelligent Healthcare zone brings together 50 companies presenting a full spectrum of intelligent medical solutions, spanning AI-powered diagnostics, surgical robotics, and next‑generation eldercare technologies. Exhibits highlight how medical devices are becoming smaller, more precise, and increasingly non‑invasive. Capsule endoscopy systems demonstrate how gastrointestinal screening can be completed without discomfort, while AI‑enabled traditional Chinese medicine analyzers compress the inspection and inquiry process into minutes. Wearable glucose monitors make chronic disease management easier and more convenient.

Robotic technologies play a prominent role as well. Endoscopic and orthopedic surgical robots showcase enhanced precision through integrated human‑machine coordination, while bionic prosthetic hands use non‑invasive myoelectric sensing to independently control each finger. Intelligent rehabilitation systems, including lower‑limb exoskeletons and hand‑training devices, provide consistent support for patients recovering mobility. Companion‑style eldercare robots, equipped with monitoring and telemedicine functions, signal the rise of integrated home‑based health services.

The debuting Functional & Technical Fabrics zone highlights how the traditional textile industry is moving toward higher-end and smarter products. Exhibitors present materials that combine multi‑layered performance with intelligent responsiveness. Textiles featuring temperature‑regulating fibers, phase‑change materials, and light‑ or heat‑sensitive color‑shifting effects illustrate how fabrics are evolving into adaptive platforms capable of responding to environmental conditions.

Sustainability emerges as a defining theme. Bio‑based fibers, degradable films, recycled polyester, and organic cotton reflect a shift from isolated eco‑products toward full‑chain green manufacturing. High‑performance outdoor and protective applications further shape the narrative. Materials engineered for waterproof breathability, UV resistance, flame retardancy, and long‑term durability address rising demand across sportswear, professional protection, and medical environments. Smart textiles with embedded health‑monitoring modules demonstrate how apparel is beginning to function as a continuous wellness interface.

Both technology‑driven healthcare and advanced textiles are converging around a shared pursuit of a better life. As these advancements continue to evolve, they reflect a manufacturing landscape increasingly shaped by innovation, resilience, and a commitment to improving everyday living.

A Decade of Learning Across Borders: PKU’s South-South Institute Turns 10

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BEIJING, May 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — When Ismail Zabeeh enrolled as a doctoral student at the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) at Peking University, he had already served as a state minister in the Maldives. What drew him back to a classroom was the chance to study development through the firsthand experience of countries that have undergone rapid development themselves.

Zabeeh is far from alone. Eric Dodoo-Amoo, who heads the China Desk of the Ministry of Finance of Ghana, is an ISSCAD graduate from the class of 2022. On April 29, 2026, both came to PKU’s Yingjie Overseas Exchange Center to join students and alumni from around the world in marking the institute’s 10th anniversary, celebrated with a forum on sustainable development in the Global South.

Founded in 2016, ISSCAD was built on a premise that remains rare in international development education: that developing countries have generated their own body of knowledge worth studying systematically.

“The most important innovation of this institute is that it draws on the development experience of China and other developing countries,” said Justin Yifu Lin, ISSCAD’s honorary dean and a former chief economist of the World Bank.

The anniversary forum brought together government leaders, scholars, and diplomats. PKU Council Chair He Guangcai and senior officials from the China International Development Cooperation Agency, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Education reaffirmed their commitment to the institute as a platform for talent development, policy research, and international exchange.

Arkebe Oqubay, a former senior minister of Ethiopia and a leading scholar on industrial policy in Africa, called the coming decade a critical window for deepening South-South cooperation. Abigail Shoniwa, Zimbabwe’s ambassador to China, noted that Zimbabwean policymakers have drawn directly on insights gained through ISSCAD programs.

A special lighting ceremony and flag parade featuring students and alumni from more than 80 countries marked the 10th anniversary, symbolizing unity and shared aspirations of the Global South.

Over the past decade, the institute has trained senior officials, diplomats, and scholars from across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific, offering doctoral and master’s programs that combine academic research with policy fieldwork in China.

As ISSCAD enters its second decade, Lin laid out an aspiration: for the institute to grow into a globally recognized center for academic innovation and knowledge exchange among developing nations.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BRUSSELS, May 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Smartee Denti-Technology, a global innovator in clear aligner solutions, presented its latest clinical developments and detailed its European localization strategy at the 7th Congress of the European Aligner Society (EAS). Held from April 16 to 18, at the SQUARE – Brussels Convention Centre, the congress marked the society’s 10th anniversary and brought together over 1,000 participants from 65 countries under the theme “Aligner Next Generation”.

The three-day event focused on advances in aligner science, clinical innovation, and digital workflows, emphasizing the integration of AI-driven treatment planning, 3D printing, and patient-specific biomechanics into modern orthodontic practice.

Advancing Mandibular Repositioning and Early Intervention

Smartee’s scientific contributions at the congress featured two clinical sessions focused on addressing complex orthodontic challenges, specially the management of severe jaw discrepancies.

On April 17, Dr. Te Wang, a core member of Prof. Gang Shen’s Orthodontic Team from Shanghai TaiKang Dental Hospital, delivered a lecture titled “A Novel Clear S8-SGTB Correcting Severe Class II Jaw Discrepancy by Mandibular Advancement Repositioning Technology.” The presentation explored how Smartee’s S8-SGTB aligner system applies the principles of Mandibular Advancement Repositioning Technology (MART) to manage complex skeletal Class II cases.

Earlier in the congress, on April 16, Dr. Vélez Lagunes presented a three-part session titled “Smartee Clear Aligner: Innovative Approaches to Intercept and Correct Malocclusion in Growing Patients.” Her lectures examined the integration of mandibular advancement systems with early intervention strategies for growing patients, highlighting how guiding facial growth during development can help reduce the need for more invasive treatments later. Following her presentation, Dr. Thomas Felkai presented clinical cases demonstrating the application of mandibular advancement technology, along with practical examples of how Smartee’s orthodontic solutions, such as the S11 arch expander, can be integrated into treatment protocols to effectively manage cases requiring arch expansion.

Attendees showed strong curiosity and active engagement, asking detailed questions about the biomechanics of mandibular advancement, and the practical integration of Smartee S11 arch expanders. Many clinicians expressed genuine interest in adopting Smartee’s technology for their own practices.

Expanding European Infrastructure and Localized Support

Europe is widely recognized as one of the largest and fastest‑growing markets for clear aligners globally. Smartee continues to build its regional infrastructure to better serve local clinicians. In 2024, the company established a manufacturing facility in Madrid, Spain, which serves as a strategic hub for localized production and delivery across Europe.

In October 2025, Smartee further expanded its footprint by establishing its UK subsidiary and European Orthodontic Clinical Support Center in Stoke-on-Trent. This center provides treatment planning services, case analysis, and technical support aligned with European clinical standards.

To ensure education remains relevant and locally grounded, Smartee continues to work closely with regional key opinion leaders and educators to develop training programs tailored to the specific clinical needs of European orthodontists.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

In the news release, Applied Intuition Collaborates with Heidelberg Materials to Advance Innovation in Quarry Operations with Autonomous Haulage Fleets, issued 30-Apr-2026 by Applied Intuition, Inc. over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that changes have been made. The complete, corrected release follows, with additional details at the end:

Deployment brings intelligent, vehicle-based autonomy to Australia, establishing a new operating model for construction and mining environments.

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Applied Intuition, Inc., a leader in physical AI, today announced its collaboration with Heidelberg Materials, one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of building materials and solutions, to deploy autonomous haulage systems for Heidelberg Materials’ quarry operations, starting at a site in Australia.

Applied Intuition will provide its Self-Driving System (SDS) for Construction to support autonomous haulage operations within Heidelberg Materials’ fleet of construction and mining vehicles in Australia. The deployment marks the next real-world application of Applied Intuition’s autonomy platform in industrial environments. Upon successful completion, it will support the expansion of autonomous operations within Heidelberg Materials’ broader Australian network.

The collaboration also challenges the standard industry model. While autonomy solutions traditionally target the largest quarry sites, this system is designed for smaller operations, including those running just two 40-ton trucks, making it deployable across quarry sites of varying size worldwide.

“No two quarry or construction sites operate the same way, with different layouts, constraints and economics,” said Qasar Younis, co-founder and CEO of Applied Intuition. “We’ve built our platform to adapt to that reality. This partnership shows we can take the same core system used in large mining operations and apply it to smaller, infrastructure-constrained quarry sites, scaling it across hundreds of unique locations.”

For Heidelberg Materials, the partnership is aimed at enhancing safety and operational performance. It also reflects the need for an autonomy solution that can operate at large sites and smaller ones too, whereas traditional autonomous haulage systems are often too infrastructure-heavy or costly to scale. For Applied Intuition, it serves as a proof point that its autonomy platform is designed not just for one-off deployments, but for global scale across construction, quarry and mining environments of any size.

Applied Intuition’s system runs directly on the vehicle, with integrated perception, decision-making and safety systems onboard, enabling reliable operation without constant connectivity or heavy site infrastructure.

The collaboration builds on Applied Intuition’s growing presence in construction and mining autonomy and reinforces its broader physical AI strategy. The same core platform has already been deployed in other industries, including trucking and defense, with learnings from each domain contributing to continuous system improvements. Applied Intuition’s SDS platform strategy also enables the company to bring technologies proven in other domains into construction and mining, helping accelerate development and deployment.

Through this project, Applied Intuition demonstrates the range of its autonomy platform, from some of the largest mining trucks in the world to smaller quarry vehicles operating in constrained, lower-infrastructure environments. Together, these deployments highlight the company’s approach to building scalable autonomy for construction and mining from the ground up.

A one-of-a-kind celebration of music, leadership, tradition, and transatlantic friendship spotlights the next generation of American leaders

FRONT ROYAL, Va., May 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), Virginia’s premier college-preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 8–12, delivered a superb parade performance at Thursday’s “Royal Block Party” in honor of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla during the Virginia leg of their State Visit to the United States this week.

Hosted by the Town of Front Royal, set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this celebration welcomed the Royal couple to an unprecedented event filled with local citizens, community leaders, and distinguished guests, for an unforgettable scene of pageantry, patriotism, and performance in the heart of Front Royal.

The Royal Block Party featured a combined ceremonial and musical presentation led by the renowned Randolph-Macon Academy Marching Band, joined by the Academy’s Color Guard and Regimental Staff. In a stirring display of community spirit, student musicians from Skyline High School and Warren County High School also performed, creating a powerful showcase of talent, discipline, and community pride.

“Randolph-Macon Academy stands at the intersection of history, leadership, and opportunity. To welcome Their Majesties in a setting that celebrates service, scholarship, and young people rising to meet the future is both a privilege and a moment of enormous significance for our Academy, our town, and our region. This event showed the world what Yellow Jackets mean by ‘the Power of Rise’!”, said R-MA Board Chair Lucy Hooper.

R-MA cadets performing for the Royal couple spoke powerfully of the unique experience. The Academy’s Regimental Commander, Cadet Colonel Rania Husted ’26, said, “I feel incredibly honored that R-MA was included in such a historic event. More than anything, I feel proud of my fellow cadets. Their hard work and dedication were evident in our performance, and I hope we made our Front Royal community proud as well.”

The Regimental Sergeant Major, Bijou Kebbay ’27, observed, “Everyone was nervous, I mean it was the king and queen of the United Kingdom, of course they were. But it was so beautiful to see how everyone came together to support each other and make sure everyone shined.”

Founded in 1892, Randolph-Macon Academy has developed young people of character, purpose, and ambition for more than 130 years. Located on a 135-acre campus in the Shenandoah Valley, R-MA offers a distinctive educational experience where structure meets opportunity, and tradition fuels transformation.

For families seeking more than a conventional high school experience, Randolph-Macon Academy offers something increasingly rare: a clear path to a life of meaning and purpose.

R-MA combines the personal attention of a small independent school with the ambition of a world-class preparatory institution. Students benefit from small classes, highly engaged faculty, competitive athletics, an extensive rotary and fixed wing aviation curriculum, STEM and robotics programs, leadership development, and one of the nation’s most respected college and service academy preparatory environments.

The Academy’s outcomes speak for themselves:

In an era when families are searching for schools that do more than educate—that build resilience, cultivate leadership, and prepare students for consequential lives—Randolph-Macon Academy offers a compelling answer. As Front Royal welcomed royalty, Randolph-Macon Academy continued to do what it has done for thirteen decades: stand tall, lead proudly, and inspire the Rise within.

NOTE: Ammoniti: Haas (E), Sounas (A), Elia (E), Yepes (E). Espulsioni: Fontanarosa (A).

Carrarese Cesena
