COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

FP Markets: Global bond market alarm bells are ringing

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

LIMASSOL, Cyprus, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Global government bond yields have been thrust into the limelight, reaching levels not seen in decades. Unquestionably, these are the most important interest rates in the world, serving as the bedrock of the financial system. Almost every financial asset – either directly or indirectly – is derived from government yields. And right now, that bedrock is shifting.

When government bond yields surge and clock multi-year highs, the world sits up and pays attention. It raises fresh questions not only about their impact on governments, businesses, and consumers, but also on other key asset classes, such as stocks and currencies.

This is not just a US story. The US 10-year Treasury yield has pushed above 4.8% – its highest level since late 2023 – while UK 10-year Gilt yields also reached levels not seen since 2008, and the 10-year Japanese JGB yield rose to its highest since 1996.

Underpinning rising yields is a combination of drivers, chief among them are persistent inflationary pressures fuelled by elevated energy prices; Brent crude is up more than 30% from July lows. Other factors include growing government budget deficits, rising ‘term premium’, and competition from technology companies issuing their own debt.

FP Markets Chief Market Analyst Aaron Hill commented: ‘I do not believe what we are witnessing is a one-off spike in the bond market. Instead, we may be observing a repricing of risk. Investors are demanding a higher return to hold longer-dated government debt as they are less confident inflation is under control and increasingly doubtful that fiscal deficits are sustainable at current levels. That has knock-on effects for everything’.

Markets are interconnected, meaning that a move higher in oil often impacts bonds and currencies, as well as gold. Investors at FP Markets can trade CFDs not only on government bonds, but on over 70 currency pairs, key stock indices, a range of commodities, and ETFs, all through world-class trading platforms.

EpiVax Launches AI-Enhanced Models for Immunogenicity Prediction

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — EpiVax, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of AI-enabled enhancements to ISPRI™, its proprietary in silico platform for assessing the immunogenicity risk of biotherapeutics. The release introduces an updated JanusMatrix™ model, a refined tolerance-adjusted immunogenicity score, and an enhanced anti-drug antibody (ADA) prediction model designed to provide deeper insight into immunogenicity risk.

For decades, EpiVax has pioneered computational immunology through the development of advanced in silico algorithms for evaluating biotherapeutic sequences. Foundational to this work are EpiMatrix® and JanusMatrix™, which evaluate T cell epitope content and human cross-conservation to characterize sequence-derived immunogenicity risk and immune tolerance. ISPRI™ brings these tools together with other extensively validated methods to assess immunogenicity risk across candidate and impurity sequences.

JanusMatrix™ 2.1JanusMatrix™ 2.1 applies AI to improve the prediction of immune tolerance by weighting human epitope cross-conservation based on expression and prevalence data. The result is a more precise characterization of therapeutic epitopes and their tolerance profiles.

JanusMatrix-Adjusted EpiMatrix ScoreBuilding on JanusMatrix 2.1, EpiVax has introduced a new immunogenicity score designed to align more closely with clinical immunogenicity outcomes. The JanusMatrix-Adjusted EpiMatrix (JAX) score incorporates JanusMatrix tolerance potential directly into EpiMatrix scores, providing insight into intrinsic effector epitope density and a more biologically-informed assessment of sequence-derived immunogenicity risk across therapeutic modalities.

ADA 2.2EpiVax has also updated its ADA prediction model with the release of ADA 2.2. The enhanced model combines epitope-based measures with biophysical attributes and mode of action criteria to provide another assessment of antibody immunogenicity risk, trained specifically leveraging a diverse set of clinical monoclonal antibodies. ADA 2.2 demonstrates a stronger correlation between predicted and clinically observed immunogenicity, providing greater confidence in risk interpretation alongside the JAX score.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

HONG KONG, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Yidan Prize Foundation, a global philanthropic organization, announced the 2026 Yidan Prize laureates at a press conference in Hong Kong today, marking the prize’s tenth year of championing education changemakers worldwide. Chaired by OECD’s Director for Education and Skills, Andreas Schleicher, the independent Judging Committee has selected Professor Paul W. Glewwe as the 2026 Yidan Prize for Education Research Laureate for breaking barriers to learning by shaping effective policies and interventions through rigorous research, unleashing the potential of children in vulnerable communities and unlocking a healthier, more prosperous future. The Committee has also selected Professor Susan P. Walker, Professor Sally Grantham-McGregor, and Dr Susan M. Chang-Lopez as the 2026 Yidan Prize for Education Development Laureates for developing an evidence-based, early childhood model that transforms children’s development and life trajectories in low-resource, displaced, and indigenous communities.

Laureates of each prize will each receive HK$30 million (approximately US$3.8 million), comprising a cash award of HK$15 million and an unrestricted project fund of HK$15 million to advance their work and expand their reach. Since 2017, the Yidan Prize Foundation has awarded a total of HK$600 million (approximately US$77 million) to 25 laureates, supporting their work in nearly 60 countries and regions.

“The work and collective impact of our laureates over the past decade have made the Yidan Prize a lighthouse to illuminate pathways forward in global education. Every laureate strengthens this commitment, brings transformative ideas, and expands the ways in which we shape the future of education,” said Dr Charles CHEN Yidan, Founder of the Yidan Prize.

The Yidan Prize recognizes changemakers whose work is future-oriented, innovative, transformative, and sustainable. Nominations for the 2027 Yidan Prize will open from 27 October 2026 until 2 March 2027.

Spotlighting what works and breaking down barriers to children’s learning at scale

Paul W. Glewwe, Regents Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, is awarded the 2026 Yidan Prize for Education Research for demonstrating how socioeconomic, health, and nutrition factors beyond traditional inputs in school settings shape children’s learning outcomes. He was instrumental in introducing literacy, numeracy, and abstract reasoning indicators of both children and parents into the World Bank’s household surveys, enabling policymakers to better understand the connection between poverty, inequality, and education. He also pioneered the use of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and policies, helping governments and development organizations direct resources toward approaches proven to improve learning. In addition, he was among the first economists to incorporate social-emotional skills into economic analyses of education and development. His innovative research across more than 15 developing countries has shaped education policy and practice around the world.

Dr Elizabeth M. King, Head, Judging Panel, Yidan Prize for Education Research, highlighted the significance of Paul’s work. She said, “Transforming education systems and outcomes happens when uncompromising scientific rigor is coupled with a fierce commitment to make a difference in people’s lives. For nearly 40 years, Paul Glewwe has provided that rigor. He has given governments the evidence they need to spend wisely, teachers the tools they need to instruct effectively, and millions of vulnerable children the opportunity to learn, thrive, and escape the trap of intergenerational poverty.”

Supporting parents and caregivers in the most critical years of children’s development

Professor Susan P. Walker, Professor Sally Grantham-McGregor, and Dr Susan M. Chang-Lopez are recognized by the 2026 Yidan Prize for Education Development for their evidence-based early childhood intervention Reach Up. They are Emeritus Professor of Nutrition of the Caribbean Institute for Health Research at The University of the West Indies; Emeritus Professor of International Child Health and Development at University College London; and Senior Lecturer of the Caribbean Institute for Health Research at The University of the West Indies, respectively. Beginning their research careers in health and nutrition, they discovered the critical role of early stimulation and quality interaction in children’s development and life trajectories. Building on this evidence, they developed practical solutions to expand caregivers’ capacity to provide stimulation from age 0 to 4. Using low-cost, culturally adaptable activities rooted in everyday routines, Reach Up supports caregivers in building their knowledge, skills, and confidence to talk, play, and respond in ways that nurture children’s cognitive development. Today, the program is implemented in over 21 countries across the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East through existing health, social protection, education, and humanitarian systems. Reach Up’s curriculum and materials are available for free and are continuously evaluated and adapted to improve the program’s effectiveness.

Dorothy K. Gordon, Head, Judging Panel, Yidan Prize for Education Development, applauded the laureates’ contribution to early childhood education. She said, “Reach Up equips children with better chances for an equal start in learning, education, and life. The laureates have demonstrated how lasting change can be achieved through a combination of evidence, partnership, and local leadership. The immense global impact of their work is linked to the quality and rigor of their pathbreaking multi-disciplinary research combined with a toolbox of well-designed interventions.”

Shaping the future of learning at the 2026 Yidan Prize Summit

The 2026 laureates will join three days of stimulating conversations at the Yidan Prize Summit in Hong Kong from 3 to 5 December 2026. Building on last year’s discussion on the future of education at a crossroads, the 2026 Yidan Prize Summit will spotlight a shift underway: seeing education not just as a place, but as a driving force for flourishing ecosystems grounded in human connection, creation, and deep learning in the age of AI. The 2026 Yidan Prize Awards Ceremony will take place on the final day, where the 2026 laureates will receive their prizes.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Researchers at Allora Labs demonstrate that intentionally worsening individual AI models through genetic mutations improves their collective performance

NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Current AI systems are limited by their inability to adapt when the world they were trained on changes. A new paper by the Chief Scientist at Allora Labs proves mathematically that this fundamental limitation can be overcome using the same evolutionary principles that generated intelligence in nature. The research shows that introducing deliberate random mutations into a population of AI models enables the population to collectively outperform any single optimized model as the world around it changes. The paper is titled “Flawed in Nature, Perfect through Evolution” and is published in the journal Allora Decentralized Intelligence.

“Any single AI model, no matter how well trained, accumulates error the moment the world it was trained on changes,” says Dr. Diederik Kruijssen, Chief Scientist at Allora Labs and the paper’s author. “This is an inescapable information-theoretic ceiling. We prove that a population of deliberately diversified models breaks through that ceiling, for the same reason that biological species survive environmental change. They exhibit pre-existing variation, some of which is well-suited to the post-change world.”

The key insight draws directly from evolutionary biology. In nature, species maintain genetic variation through mutation. Most mutations are harmful to the individual organism, but the population benefits because some variants happen to be well-suited to new conditions when the environment shifts. This research demonstrates that the same principle applies to AI model populations: each mutated model is individually worse, but the best model in the mutated swarm outperforms the best model in an optimized swarm approximately 80% of the time when conditions change.

“The idea that individual imperfection enables collective adaptation is well-established in evolutionary theory, but seeing it formalized with mathematical guarantees for artificial systems is a significant step. This work opens a new dimension for thinking about AI robustness under changing conditions.”— Prof. Steven Longmore, Liverpool John Moores University, AI-driven biodiversity conservation

The paper’s four mathematical theorems prove, step by step, that no single model can escape this performance ceiling, and that a population of mutated models provably breaks through it. Numerical experiments validate all four theorems, with the mutated swarm’s combined output outperforming the original at high statistical significance.

The advantage peaks when the rate at which models mutate roughly matches the rate at which the environment is changing: a “Goldilocks zone” that mirrors evolutionary dynamics. The optimal regime is broad: there is about a hundredfold range around the peak, and the penalty for mutating too slowly is gentle, while mutating too fast degrades performance sharply. This forgiving behavior opens up practical applications.

Nick Emmons, CEO of Allora Labs, says about the work: “As AI systems are deployed in financial markets, healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and other environments that change constantly, the inability to adapt to shifting conditions has become their primary failure mode. Most AI research focuses on making individual models bigger and faster. We think the bigger gain is in how populations of models interact and evolve, and this work proves that’s the right perspective.”

“The qualities we associate with intelligence, like originality, adaptability, and creativity, all require the ability to perform well under conditions you’ve never encountered before,” says Dr. Kruijssen. “Current AI models can’t do that. They replicate what they’ve learned, but they don’t adapt to the unknown. A population of evolving models can. That’s what this work demonstrates, and it’s what evolution has been doing for billions of years.”

The paper outlines several future directions, including the application of the Flawed-in-Nature principle to large language models through fine-tuning methods, its extension to decentralized AI networks, and the development of a controller algorithm that tunes mutation strength automatically without requiring knowledge of how the environment changes. “A result like this opens up so many downstream directions,” adds Dr. Kruijssen. “Our team has already built the controller that makes this principle work in practice, and the work on several concrete applications has started too.”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

2
prodotte dai propri consumi termici.

BOC Group Named a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Twin of an Organization Platforms

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

DUBLIN, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BOC Group has been placed in the Challenger Quadrant in its first inclusion in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Twin of an Organization Platforms.

The recognition provides further validation of BOC Group’s approach to helping organizations understand how their business operates today, assess how it responds to change, and shape what comes next. Gartner highlighted BOC’s unified platform, central semantic repository, unified user experience, and native integration as strengths, reflecting the company’s approach to bringing Process Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Governance, Risk and Compliance together.

BOC Group delivers its Digital Twin of an Organization capabilities through the Enterprise Intelligence Platform. At its core is ADONIS, which captures how work gets done across the enterprise and links natively with ADOIT for Enterprise Architecture and ADOGRC for GRC.

Because all three products share the same platform and object-centric metamodel, information can be reused across disciplines instead of recreated in separate tools. This creates one coherent view of processes, roles, applications, data, risks, controls, and strategic initiatives – helping teams uncover dependencies, assess change, evaluate future scenarios, and coordinate transformation.

That shared enterprise context becomes even more valuable as AI moves deeper into business operations. It gives decision-makers a more reliable basis for action while providing AI systems with the organizational context needed to generate relevant, trustworthy results.

“Being positioned in the Challenger Quadrant in our first year in this Magic Quadrant is a strong confirmation of the direction we have taken with ADONIS”, says Tobias Rausch, ADONIS Product Manager. “Our ambition is simple: help organizations make their business run better and make AI deliver real value. Enterprise Intelligence brings those two goals together – and this recognition gives us further momentum to push that vision forward.”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

Streaming senza intoppi sui social media

CIGRE 2026: Building power grids for a new age of electrification

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

The world is entering a new age of electricity, and the race is on to build the grids that will power it. The challenge is no longer to imagine the grid of the future. It is to build it quickly, at scale and through coordinated action across the entire electricity value chain.

This was the core message at the CIGRE 2026 Paris Session, where more than 15,000 experts from 100 countries gathered along with 330 exhibitors.

A €600bn–a–year grid imperative

PARIS, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Electrification of transport, industry and buildings, the integration of renewables and the surge in data–center demand are pushing power systems to their limits. To keep pace, the IEA estimates that annual electricity grid investment must increase by around 50%, from about USD 400 billion today to roughly USD 600 billion per year by 2030.

Yet delivery times remain a major bottleneck. In China, an extra–high–voltage line can be permitted and built in about 1.5 years; in India, around three years. In Europe and the United States, similar projects often take eight to ten years or more (Source IEA).

One Grid for the energy transition

The energy transition will succeed only if the grid of tomorrow is developed, operated, and governed as one integrated system.

This “One Grid” approach requires all stakeholders to work together from the earliest stages of infrastructure planning and delivery:

“No plan B, no planet B,” said Konstantin O. Papailiou, President of CIGRE, calling for collective action to build the power systems of the future.

No electrification without skills

Infrastructure and capital are not enough. The sector also faces a widening skills gap, with strong competition for engineers, technicians and digital specialists. Attracting and training qualified people is now critical for delivering electrification on time.

Around eight million people are employed worldwide in constructing, maintaining and operating power grids, but the IEA estimates that the sector will need an additional 1.5 million workers by 2030.

CIGRE is addressing this through its technical working groups and the CIGRE Fund for Innovation and Education, which supports research, scholarships and training worldwide.

Powering the future together

Invited to the FIERE (Filière Industrielle des Entreprises des Réseaux Électriques) event, Mr. Martin, the French Minister of Industry, visited the CIGRE exhibition. The Minister highlighted the importance of cooperation in delivering the current electrification wave and recalled that the first CIGRE conference was held in Paris in 1921.

More than a century later, CIGRE continues to bring together the full electricity community to address shared societal, industrial and environmental challenges.

As the world enters the new age of electricity, one conclusion stands out: one grid, one industry, one challenge—and a shared responsibility to build the power system that will enable the energy transition.

About CIGRE

CIGRE is a non-profit and independent organization established 100 years ago to support the development of electricity. With 25,000 members in over 140 countries, combining local expertise with global vision, the CIGRE community integrates all players in the electricity value chain.

It brings together researchers, engineers, suppliers, regulators, and other decision makers, all committed to sharing knowledge and collaborating to ensure a reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity supply for all.

Proprietary technology fuses multiple wavelengths into a single beam to set a new standard of care in laser facial rejuvenation.

PRAGUE, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BTL, a global leader in advanced energy-based medical and aesthetic technologies, today announced a major milestone in its corporate history: the official establishment of its dedicated laser division and the upcoming launch of its flagship laser system, EXOLASE ONE®.

EXOLASE ONE® is a major leap in the aesthetic industry as the first-ever application of fused erbium laser technology in medical practice. The system fuses multiple erbium laser wavelengths into a single beam of light, treating the exact same spot simultaneously. This creates a completely new form of laser-tissue interaction that overcomes the traditional limitations of existing facial rejuvenation lasers regarding clinical efficacy, speed of treatment, and patient comfort.

“The technology covers what normally requires multiple ablative and non-ablative systems, transforming it into a remarkably simple procedure that treats the entire face in under 10 minutes while delivering superior results for our patients,” said Dr. Reha Yavuzer, one of the first clinical investigators for the platform.

EXOLASE ONE® is the latest high-tech breakthrough originating from BTL’s extensive R&D infrastructure, which has powered many of the company’s industry-defining innovations.

“This is a historic moment for BTL. From the beginning, we knew that only a genuinely disruptive technology would allow us to build a true laser powerhouse,” said Tomas Schwarz, CEO of BTL Group of Companies. “Based on feedback from pioneering clinical centers worldwide, EXOLASE ONE® represents exactly this kind of breakthrough.”

Following an early-access program for selected key opinion leaders, EXOLASE ONE® will move to a broader global launch in 2027, initially focused on aesthetic medicine and dermatology. The new laser division becomes BTL’s sixth core division, complementing its existing operations in aesthetics, mental wellness, rehabilitation, cardiology, and robotics.

About BTL

Founded in 1993, BTL has grown to become one of the world’s major medical and aesthetic equipment manufacturers. With over 5,000 employees located in more than 90 countries, BTL has revolutionized the industry by offering the most advanced non-invasive solutions for body shaping, skin tightening, facial rejuvenation, mental health, rehabilitation and cardiology.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute (TCAI) at St. David’s Medical Center recently became the first facility in the nation to participate in a clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a next-generation mapping and pulsed field ablation system to treat patients with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation. Andrea Natale, M.D., F.H.R.S., F.A.C.C., F.E.S.C., executive medical director of TCAI and the global principal investigator for the trial, performed the first procedure.

Atrial fibrillation, the most common type of arrhythmia, affects millions of people globally. It occurs when the top two chambers of the heart beat too fast and with an irregular rhythm. Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is an arrhythmia with symptoms that last for seven days or fewer, while persistent atrial fibrillation is a sustained arrhythmia that lasts for more than a week. Early treatment of paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation can reduce the risk of blood clots, stroke and heart failure—and may prevent the disease from becoming permanent.

“Pulsed field ablation represents one of the most significant advancements in electrophysiology in decades, and this clinical trial will help physicians around the world better understand the safety and effectiveness of this technology,” Dr. Natale said. “The Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute remains at the forefront of arrhythmia care, helping to advance technologies that will shape the future of electrophysiology.”

The novel catheter system relies on electric fields to ablate targeted heart tissue without using the excess heat or cold used in traditional ablation, helping to reduce the risk of damage to surrounding structures. The system incorporates advanced 3D cardiac mapping technology that provides a detailed view of the heart’s electrical activity, enabling physicians to visualize catheter position and tissue contact before and after the energy is delivered. During a traditional ablation procedure, a catheter is guided into the interior of the heart and uses extreme heat or cold to destroy tissue associated with abnormal heart rhythms, creating a greater chance that surrounding structures will be damaged.

TCAI is a state-of-the-art Electrophysiology Center that includes six labs equipped with advanced technology where a group of renowned cardiac electrophysiologists perform a high volume of the most complex electrophysiology procedures.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE
