Professor Sun noted that the HKSARG’s efforts in promoting innovation and technology (I&T) are bearing fruit. He said the number of start-ups in Hong Kong has surged by 40% since 2021, reaching 5,200 in 2025. The Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou innovation cluster was ranked first globally in the Global Innovation Index 2025 and Hong Kong ranked fourth globally in the World Digital Competitiveness Ranking 2025, and second globally in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026.  

Hong Kong also topped the world in IPO (initial public offering) in 2025, with 119 listings raising some US$35 billion, including many world tech champions. 

Professor Sun also met with Mr Alswaha to exchange views on I&T collaborations between Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.

Cosenza, 11 luglio 2026 – La Camera di Commercio di Cosenza porta nel cuore della Capitale la Calabria che innova, produce cultura e costruisce relazioni. Si è svolta ieri sera, nella suggestiva cornice di Terrazza Caffarelli, affacciata sui Fori Imperiali e sul Campidoglio, la quinta edizione de “Il Terrazzo – Sapori di Calabria”, l’appuntamento annuale dedicato alla promozione delle eccellenze del territorio attraverso un racconto che intreccia cultura, identità, enogastronomia e istituzioni. 

Ad aprire la serata è stato il Segretario Generale della Camera di Commercio di Cosenza, Erminia Giorno, che ha illustrato il significato dell’iniziativa, quest’anno dedicata a Bernardino Telesio e Tommaso Campanella, due figure simbolo del pensiero europeo e dell’identità culturale calabrese. 

Parola poi al Presidente Klaus Algieri, che ha evidenziato il filo conduttore scelto per questa quinta edizione: dopo il racconto della Calabria attraverso i suoi paesaggi, protagonista dell’edizione 2025, quest’anno il viaggio si è spostato sul patrimonio immateriale della regione, ripercorrendo il pensiero di figure come Gioacchino da Fiore, Bernardino Telesio, Tommaso Campanella e Antonio Serra, accomunate dalla capacità di influenzare il pensiero europeo e di anticipare temi ancora oggi di grande attualità, dalla centralità della persona alla tutela dell’ambiente, fino al valore della ricchezza prodotta dai territori.

PECHINO, 11 luglio 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Il 6 luglio si è tenuto un dialogo tra civiltà tra le Rovine archeologiche della città di Liangzhu, a Hangzhou, nella provincia dello Zhejiang (Cina orientale), e la città storica di Samarcanda, in Uzbekistan, con l’obiettivo di promuovere l’apprendimento reciproco e gli scambi tra le civiltà. 

Nell’ambito della serie di eventi del programma “Liangzhu and the World”, il dialogo ha riunito presso le Rovine archeologiche della città di Liangzhu, a Hangzhou, oltre 100 partecipanti provenienti dalla Cina e dall’Uzbekistan, che hanno discusso temi quali il valore, la conservazione e la gestione del patrimonio culturale, nonché gli approcci alla sua rivitalizzazione.  

Scoperte per la prima volta nel 1936 nel corso inferiore del fiume Yangtze, il più lungo della Cina, le Rovine archeologiche della città di Liangzhu sono state iscritte nella Lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO nel 2019. La città storica di Samarcanda, considerata un crocevia di culture lungo l’antica Via della Seta, è stata iscritta nella Lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO nel 2001. 

Oltre a offrire una piattaforma di alto livello per gli scambi tra le due città, il dialogo ha anche segnato la prima collaborazione del programma “Liangzhu and the World” con un sito del patrimonio mondiale situato in Asia. 

Nel corso del dialogo, i partecipanti hanno affrontato temi incentrati sulla rivitalizzazione del patrimonio culturale e sull’apprendimento reciproco tra le civiltà delle città della Via della Seta, sul rafforzamento della cooperazione tra Cina e Uzbekistan nella ricerca archeologica, nella conservazione dei siti in terra, nelle tecnologie digitali e nell’integrazione tra cultura e turismo, offrendo un modello asiatico per la conservazione coordinata del patrimonio mondiale e il dialogo tra le civiltà. 

Prima del dialogo, la delegazione uzbeka ha visitato le Rovine archeologiche della città di Liangzhu e un centro di monitoraggio del patrimonio mondiale, dove ha approfondito l’approccio integrato di Liangzhu alla conservazione del patrimonio e al coinvolgimento del pubblico grazie alle tecnologie digitali, inclusi occhiali intelligenti basati sull’intelligenza artificiale. 

Farhod Nishonov, vicesindaco di Samarcanda, ha espresso grande apprezzamento per il modello sistematico di conservazione adottato a Liangzhu, affermando che offre un’esperienza preziosa per la gestione di Samarcanda. For patients diagnosed in restorative or general practice, the technology enables the integration of mandibular repositioning prior to occlusal reconstruction. 

Patients entering through orthodontic practice may first complete mandibular repositioning treatment before referral for definitive restorative rehabilitation. The project aims to provide a coordinated clinical technology that facilitates interdisciplinary treatment planning while preserving the respective roles of each specialty. 

Continuing the Development of the GS Clinical System 

S22 represents a further extension of the GS mandibular repositioning technology beyond orthodontics into prosthodontic dentistry. By combining Smartee’s digital treatment planning platform with the clinical principles of GS mandibular repositioning, the project explores a digital workflow for interdisciplinary management of patients presenting with Three-Depth Malocclusion accompanied by tooth wear or tooth loss.

“Sulla base delle linee guida del ministero della salute – sostengono Magi e Landi – abbiamo realizzato una guida pratica per proteggere cani e gatti dal caldo estivo e prevenire il colpo di calore. Con l’aumento delle temperature, anche i nostri amici a quattro zampe possono andare incontro a problemi di salute. Il caldo intenso può favorire il colpo di calore, la disidratazione e un rapido affaticamento, anche dopo passeggiate brevi. Durante l’estate aumentano le occasioni per trascorrere del tempo all’aria aperta con i propri animali, ma proprio le alte temperature possono rappresentare un serio rischio per cani e gatti. A differenza dell’uomo, infatti, questi animali non sudano e regolano la temperatura corporea soprattutto aumentando la frequenza respiratoria e disperdendo il calore attraverso la bocca e le vie respiratorie. Quando però temperatura e umidità sono elevate, questo meccanismo può non essere più sufficiente e la temperatura corporea può aumentare rapidamente fino a provocare il colpo di calore, una vera emergenza veterinaria”.

Tokenization of Historic Idaho Gold Deposit Increases Total NATG Generated and Minted to 106,800 

CORAL GABLES, Fla., July 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — NatGold Digital Ltd. (“NatGold Digital” or the “Company”) today announced the completion of the tokenization of its second NatGold Certified Resource, increasing the aggregate number of NatGold Tokens (“NATG”) generated and minted from 57,200 to 106,800. 

The Company also acknowledges that trading in NATG on Kraken, which had been expected to commence at 10:00 a.m. EDT on July 8, 2026, has not yet commenced. At this time, the Company has not been informed of the reason for the delay or when trading will begin. NatGold Digital, like its shareholders, mining partners, and the broader community interested in acquiring NatGold Tokens, continues to await the commencement of trading and will provide further information when appropriate. 

Today’s tokenization of the Alaska 4 patented mining claim at the Friday Gold Mine in Idaho generated and minted an additional 49,600 NATG. It follows the Company’s initial tokenization of the Cahuilla Gold Project’s patented mining claims 45 and 46 in California on June 30, 2026, which generated and minted 57,200 NATG. 

Together, the two completed tokenizations encompass distinct gold properties in separate U.S. jurisdictions and have generated and minted an aggregate 106,800 NATG. By incorporating certified resources from separate properties and jurisdictions, the tokenizations expand the resource base from which NATG is generated and demonstrate the applicability of NatGold Digital’s model across qualifying gold resources. 

The 106,800 NATG were minted through the NATG smart contract and recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. Together, the two tokenizations represent the first completed applications of NatGold Digital’s patent-pending digital mining model to NatGold Certified Resources.

Each resource completed NatGold Digital’s certification and tokenization process, including geological, technical, legal and title-related review and the application of the Company’s digital mining cutoff grade. The eligible gold resources and resulting token quantities are documented in a NatGold Certified Resources Tokenization Certificate issued for each resource.
