COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BERLIN, July 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — iScooter, an innovator in personal transportation solutions, has announced a 45-day Back-to-School campaign for European consumers, running from July 28 to September 10, 2026. Designed around the peak back-to-school shopping period in August, the campaign introduces student-exclusive discounts, limited accessory offers, and a range of electric mobility products tailored to different commuting and lifestyle needs.

As students return to campuses and families prepare for the new academic year, flexible transportation solutions are becoming increasingly important. For university students and young commuters, compact and convenient mobility options can help simplify short-distance travel between campuses, residences, and public transit connections. Meanwhile, family back-to-school purchases often extend beyond daily commuting needs, creating demand for mobility products suitable for different age groups.

To meet these varied requirements, iScooter’s campaign covers multiple categories, including electric scooters, electric bikes, and children’s electric rideable. The featured lineup includes the i8, i9, EB3S, and iK3Pro, offering solutions for students, commuters, and families.

The i8 Electric Scooter is positioned as an entry-level electric scooter designed for users seeking an accessible and practical mobility option. The i9 Electric Scooter provides an additional choice for everyday travel, balancing convenience and performance for regular urban use. For riders looking beyond traditional commuting, the EB3S Electric Bike offers greater versatility, supporting both daily cycling and more varied riding environments. For younger riders and family-focused purchases, the iK3Pro children’s electric scooter provides a dedicated option designed for kids’ mobility needs.

As part of the campaign, eligible students who complete identity verification through EDiU can receive an additional 8% discount on selected products. In addition, the first 50 qualified customers will have the opportunity to purchase a student accessory package at 50% off. The limited bundles are available while supplies last.

Beyond direct consumer offers, iScooter is also introducing a Student Affiliate Program to expand engagement with campus communities. Through collaborations with student creators, university groups, and relevant partners, the program aims to connect more students with practical electric mobility solutions during the back-to-school season.

About iScooter

Trusted in over 30 countries, the brand delivers intuitive, zero-emission mobility through innovative design and user-focused features, enabling cleaner, more efficient commutes and adaptable travel experiences for everyday life.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

The partnership marks the next phase of xStocks, expanding the tokenised equities framework beyond U.S. stocks and ETFs to include equities from international markets and, over time, other asset classes. Subject to the required licences, it also plans to bring tokenised assets to GTN’s institutional network

DUBAI, UAE and ST. HELIER, Jersey, July 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — GTN, the fintech powering limitless investment, and Payward, the developer of the xStocks tokenised equities framework and parent company of Kraken, have partnered to enhance and accelerate the global expansion of the xStocks offering.

The partnership unlocks a pathway for xStocks to significantly scale the range of equities it tokenises, beginning by tokenising equities listed in Hong Kong, before expanding to tokenise UK-listed assets, European assets, South Korean assets, and more, delivering an unrivalled breadth of international market access that no other tokenised framework offers today. It also opens the opportunity to expand xStocks beyond tokenised equities for the first time, broadening the framework to new tokenised asset classes. For individual holders, it means tokenised assets from markets across the world and multiple asset classes can sit side-by-side in one portfolio, held onchain, tradeable 24/7, and portable across the 100+ exchanges, wallets, and DeFi applications where xStocks already trade.

GTN provides the global execution and custody for the traditional assets underlying xStocks’ expansion. Spanning a broad range of asset classes across 90+ markets through a single integration, GTN is the partner making the next phase of xStocks possible, providing a route to scale its tokenised offering beyond U.S. equities to equities listed in international markets and, over time, new asset classes, each subject to regulatory approvals. Tokenisation’s promise has always been to make the world’s markets accessible to more people from a single place, and this partnership is a key step toward that goal.

Under the agreement, GTN provides infrastructure to support the ledgering and record-keeping of tokenised products, helping token issuers account for the underlying assets. Subject to GTN obtaining the required licences in each market, GTN would also make a range of xStocks available to its institutional clients alongside its existing offering. Because GTN reaches a range of asset classes across 90+ markets, the partnership also creates pathways for the xStocks ecosystem to diversify the assets it lists to the hundreds of centralised exchanges, self-custody wallets, and DeFi protocols where it already trades.

“For decades, we’ve accepted that capital markets should be fragmented by country, currency, and market hours,” said Mark Greenberg, Global Head of Payward Services. “That’s a legacy financial infrastructure problem. The biggest asset class that hasn’t been tokenized yet is the rest of the world, and our partnership with GTN is about changing that. One asset at a time, we’re bringing truly global capital markets onchain until geography becomes irrelevant to investing.”

“Financial institutions want to move into new asset classes and markets without rebuilding their technology. Our infrastructure lets partners like Payward launch quickly across 90+ markets and a full range of instruments, and it includes the sub-accounting technology Kraken needs to offer tokenised products. We are delighted that Payward has selected GTN as a global product expansion partner,” said Ankit Shah, Global Head of FinTech, GTN.

xStocks launched a year ago with tokenised U.S. stocks and ETFs, backed 1:1 by the underlying assets. It has since grown and broadened to more than 500 tokenised assets spanning equities, ETFs, and IPOs, the widest range offered by any tokenised equities framework, and now power over $35 billion dollars in transaction volume across multiple blockchain ecosystems, and has amassed nearly 200,000 holders across the world. The GTN partnership marks the start of its next phase, extending that framework beyond U.S. capital markets for investors around the world.

The partnership is already live, with tokenised distribution to GTN’s institutional clients to follow once the required licences are in place. By combining GTN’s regulated infrastructure with Payward’s platform, the two companies aim to make a wider range of assets and markets accessible to institutions worldwide, and will share details on enhanced offerings in the coming weeks.

Demand for EVs continues its growth across Europe with Chinese brands increasing market share, new OLX data shows

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

AMSTERDAM, July 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Every electric vehicle market tracked by OLX Group (“OLX”) is still growing at double or triple-digit rates, and Chinese automotive brands are capturing a growing share of that demand, according to new data published today.

OLX, a global online classifieds leader with nearly 60 million daily listings across seven markets, has today published The Great Acceleration: East Meets Electric, which examines consumer demand for electric vehicles across five OLX automotive marketplaces: La Centrale (France), Autovit (Romania), Standvirtual (Portugal), Otomoto (Poland), and AutoTrader (South Africa).

The data shows EV adoption maturing into a structural trend rather than a short-term reaction: every market measured has now sustained double or triple-digit year-on-year EV lead growth, even as these growth rates ease from previously seen highs. Chinese automotive brands remain central to that story, with MG and BYD now among the leading Chinese brands in four of the five markets, as manufacturers continue to expand the availability of EVs at accessible price points.

Key findings

Christian Gisy, CEO of OLX, said: “The story our data tells is straightforward: where EV adoption is accelerating, demand for Chinese automotive brands is accelerating with it. That is no coincidence – Chinese manufacturers are actively expanding the market, bringing electric vehicles to consumers at lower price points than ever before. This means EVs are now more accessible for more people. The transition to electric mobility is happening faster, and more broadly, because Chinese manufacturers are in it.”

EV demand remains strong

Consumer interest in EVs remains high across all five markets, with every market recording double or triple-digit year-on-year growth in EV leads. France leads at 206%, followed by South Africa at 154.6%, Romania at 66%, Portugal at 60%, and Poland at 34.3%.

Portugal remains the most mature EV market, with electric vehicles accounting for close to one in seven leads on the platform (14.9%).

The report finds that demand, which surged in the months following the outbreak of the conflict in Iran in February 2026 as fuel costs and energy security became more prominent considerations for consumers, has since settled into a steadier, sustained pattern consistent with structural adoption rather than a short-term reaction.

Chinese automotive brands are helping unlock EV growth

As EV demand matures, Chinese automotive brands are moving from early experimentation to a phase where a smaller number of manufacturers are converting early interest into durable market share. MG and BYD now feature among the leading Chinese brands in four of the five markets tracked.

France recorded the strongest increase in consumer demand for Chinese automotive brands, rising 276% year-on-year – more than double the next-fastest market, Romania (119%). Portugal (74%) and Poland (95%) also recorded strong increases as Chinese manufacturers continued to expand their presence.

Chinese manufacturers continue to adapt to local market conditions. In Romania, where EV prices declined nearly 8% year-on-year, the increased availability of Chinese-made vehicles continues to expand access to more affordable electric vehicles. This differs from France, where consumer interest in Chinese automotive brands keeps growing despite a 25% increase in EV prices, reflecting sustained demand in a supply-constrained market.

Chinese manufacturers adapt to local market dynamics

While EV demand is strong across all five OLX markets, the report shows Chinese manufacturers continuing to adapt their vehicle offering, pricing and market positioning to reflect each market’s stage of EV adoption.

Portugal, Europe’s most mature EV market, continues to show Chinese brands competing on technology and model choice as much as price, with Xpeng now among the leading brands alongside MG and BYD. Poland remains the group’s most diversified Chinese brand market by brand count, with MG, BYD and Omoda leading.

South Africa represents a different stage of market development. Chinese brands account for the highest share of demand in the group (7.31%), led by Haval, but that demand is concentrated on petrol and hybrid SUVs rather than EVs – just 0.3% of Chinese brand demand there is electric. This reflects the influence of local infrastructure, driving conditions and consumer preferences, with Chinese manufacturers adapting their approach to each market rather than pursuing a single strategy across all five.

Methodology

All figures are drawn from leads-based consumer activity across OLX Group’s five automotive marketplace platforms. La Centrale (France), Autovit (Romania), Standvirtual (Portugal), Otomoto (Poland) and AutoTrader (South Africa). “Leads” refers to meaningful user engagement: views, enquiries, and contact events. Data is as at 30 June 2026. Full methodology is available in the report.

Agriturismo, apicoltura e carburante agricolo

With Wacom Yuify rolling out to ibisPaint, the service expands beyond desktop-only support to Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android.

Wacom Yuify is a digital service that embeds authorship and ownership data directly into artwork using invisible micromarking technology. This data creates a persistent and verifiable record that helps creators prove authorship, communicate ownership clearly, and build trust around their digital work. When used with ibisPaint, Wacom Yuify supports the PNG format. The embedded information can be verified using Yuifinder, a free, browser-based verification tool.

Until now, Wacom Yuify has only been available through desktop creative tools such as Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, and Rebelle, supporting workflows on Windows and macOS. With the addition of ibisPaint, Wacom Yuify is becoming accessible within creative environments that reflect how many creators draw, sketch, and share their work today.

ibisPaint is a widely used illustration and drawing app with over 500 million downloads worldwide, used by a broad global community of creators who sketch, illustrate, and publish their work across mobile and desktop environments. By integrating Wacom Yuify into ibisPaint, authorship information can be embedded naturally as part of everyday creative workflows.

“As creative activity increasingly takes place on mobile devices and social platforms, it’s important that creators have simple ways to assert authorship wherever they create,” said Koji Yano, Senior Vice President, Creative Experience Unit at Wacom. “By bringing Wacom Yuify to ibisPaint, we are expanding our focus beyond desktop tools and making authorship protection more accessible within the creative workflows people use every day.”

“We welcome the enhancement of an environment where digital creators can confidently share their work and demonstrate the authenticity of their creations through ibisPaint’s support for Wacom Yuify,” said Yuka Inoue, Section Manager at Ibis inc. “By combining Wacom Yuify’s invisible digital ID with ibisPaint’s diverse creative tools, we expect to offer a broader creative experience that supports creators in managing and presenting their artwork throughout their creative journey.”

As creative expression continues to expand across digital communities, questions of authorship and trust remain essential—not only for professionals, but also for individuals who share their work online as part of everyday creative practice. Designed to support creators at every level, Wacom Yuify provides a reliable way to assert authorship within the tools they already use. Through Wacom Yuify, Wacom seeks to support creators beyond the moment of creation—standing alongside them as their work is shared, discovered, and carried forward over time.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

PRESS RELEASE

Bloomberg (THEON:NA) / Reuters (THEON.AS)

27 July 2026 – Theon International Plc (THEON) is pleased to announce its Q2 2026 / H1 2026 Trading Update, for the period ended 30 June 2026, delivering sustained commercial and financial performance.

THEON maintained its growth momentum during the first half of 2026 and continued to deliver profitability in the mid-twenties and a book-to-bill ratio of c. 1.0x. The Group continues to benefit from resilient demand fundamentals, providing confidence in the achievement of its FY 2026 Guidance.

Further acceleration of activity and order intake is expected in the second half of the year, in line with the sector’s typical seasonality and THEON’s historical business pattern. Continued opportunities across key geographies, combined with the introduction of new products and technologies within THEON’s ecosystem, are expected to support further growth and materially enhance the Group’s total addressable market.

THEON continued to execute its M&A strategy during Q2 2026, announcing its largest acquisition to date. Despite the increased inorganic investment activity, the Group maintains a healthy balance sheet with year-end leverage expected to remain at sustainable levels.

THEON again reiterates both its FY 2026 Guidance and Medium-Term Targets, which include maintaining a book-to-bill ratio above 1.0x for FY 2026 and reaching €1 billion revenue by 2029.

Key Highlights

Financial Highlights

Operational Highlights

During Q2 2026, THEON continued to strengthen its position as a leading defence optronics group, benefiting from sustained demand in its core soldier systems business while accelerating its expansion into ISR solutions, drones, counter-UAS technologies and AI-enabled capabilities. Supported by acquisitions, strategic partnerships and targeted investments, the Group continues to broaden its technological reach and address an increasingly diverse range of defence requirements.

Corporate and Strategic Highlights

During the quarter, THEON continued to strengthen its industrial footprint and strategic ecosystem through investments, partnerships and integration initiatives. The Group also maintained an active presence at major industry events, showcasing its expanding product portfolio and next-generation technology roadmap to customers and partners worldwide.

*Both the HGH and MERIO acquisitions are subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals. MERIO acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of Q3 2026 and will be financed through a combination of debt and cash on balance. The closing of the HGH acquisition is expected to take place by the beginning of 2027 and is expected to be entirely funded through debt (no associated equity capital increase), with leverage reaching a pro-forma level of c.3.0x before lowering to c.2.5x by 2027.

THEON will publish its HY 2026 report on Monday, 7 September 2026, after market close. A webcast for analysts and investors will be hosted on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, with registration details published nearer the time.

Guidance and Outlook

Christian Hadjiminas, Founder and CEO of THEON, stated:

“The first half of 2026 demonstrates the strength of THEON’s business model and the effectiveness of our strategy. THEON has significantly accelerated its expansion into some of the fastest-growing areas of defence technology, with recent initiatives and joint business development activities already translating into commercial opportunities and new orders, validating our ambition of building a European defence optronics champion. We believe THEON is increasingly positioned at the forefront of a new market being created by the convergence of advanced sensing, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, ISR and next-generation soldier modernisation programmes. With an expanded addressable market of €8 billion (which is rapidly expanding further), growing geographical diversification and an innovation pipeline stronger than ever, we remain highly confident in both our FY 2026 Guidance and our ambition to reach €1 billion of revenue by 2029.”

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

In the news release, Economist Enterprise research, supported by HCLTech, confirms confidence in AI is high for the Telecom, Media, Semiconductor and Technology (TMT) industry, but business impact is still limited, issued 27-Jul-2026 by HCLTech over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that the link has changed in the 7th paragraph. The complete, corrected release follows:

NEW YORK and NOIDA, India, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HCLTech (NSE: HCLTECH) (BSE: HCLTECH), a leading global technology company, today announced the release of a new research report conducted by Economist Enterprise, the business-to-business arm of The Economist Group providing media solutions and intelligence services to organizations. Supported by HCLTech, the report examines how AI is reshaping competitive boundaries across the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) industries and the widening gap between executive optimism and measurable business impact.

Based on insights from more than 200 C-suite executives across telecom, media, technology and semiconductor organizations in the U.S. and Europe, the research reveals that AI is accelerating convergence across the TMT ecosystem, forcing companies to rethink traditional industry boundaries as competitors, partners, adjacent verticals converge to create new sources of growth, differentiation and value.

The research also highlights an AI value paradox: while 91% of organizations believe their AI investments are delivering results, only one-third can measure the business value created, raising a critical question: how can organizations unlock AI’s full potential if they cannot consistently quantify the value it generates?

The report further highlights an execution gap as organizations move from AI experimentation to scaled adoption. While talent upskilling ranks as the top future AI investment priority, only 20% of organizations currently have a strategy for AI upskilling or hiring within their AI initiatives. Additionally, despite rapid AI deployment, only 17% report that governance is actively shaping how their AI systems operate.

“Our research makes clear that industry leaders recognize how AI can unlock new revenue models, strengthen customer relationships and bring them closer to their end customers,” said Charlotte Bullard Davies, Principal, Research Methods & Innovation at Economist Enterprise. “Organizations that successfully combine strategic focus, ecosystem collaboration and disciplined governance will be best positioned for future business growth.”

“The boundaries that once separated TMT are rapidly dissolving as AI becomes embedded across every layer of the value chain,” said Anil Ganjoo, Chief Growth Officer, and Global Head of Telecom, Media and Technology at HCLTech. “The next era of growth and competitive advantage will belong to organizations that move beyond AI experimentation and adoption toward industrialization, leveraging AI investments to deliver measurable business impact, create differentiated experiences and unlock new sources of growth.”

As extreme heat grips much of Europe, a new travel trend is taking shape. Increasingly, travelers are looking beyond their own borders in search of cooler summer destinations, and China is emerging as one of their top choices.

With its cool climate and picturesque landscape of green hills and clear waters, Liupanshui City, known as China’s “cool city” in southwest China’s Guizhou Province, has emerged as a favored destination for foreign travelers escaping the heat. During this summer vacation, more than 20 themed events, including music festivals and rural garden fairs, are taking place across the city, drawing visitors from around the world.

Touring the city this summer, Max Slonim, an American tourist, was impressed by the cool and comfortable weather. “Whenever you go to scenic and beautiful places, you can really experience nature and the peaceful atmosphere without huge crowds and long queues,” he said.

The broader momentum behind “China Travel” continues to build. During the first half of 2026, China recorded more than 22.91 million inbound visits, up 20.4% year on year. Traditional summer destinations such as Yunnan, Guizhou and Hunan provinces have topped international travelers’ summer wishlists.

Booming China Travel

In Zhangjiajie, a tourist city in central China’s Hunan Province known worldwide for its dreamlike landscape, the peak season for inbound visitors has arrived. Tourists from Europe, Southeast Asia and beyond venture into its UNESCO-listed sandstone mountains, where cool breezes and lush forests offer a natural retreat.

Benefiting from China’s 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the city has opened over 10 passenger air routes linking eight countries and regions. Fast-track immigration procedures and entry to major attractions with just a passport have made traveling in the city more seamless than ever for international visitors.

Since the beginning of July, family summer trips to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area have surged, with daily visits approaching 10,000 and inbound tourists accounting for over 50% of the total.

China’s cooler coastal destinations are also seeing rising popularity. Qinhuangdao, a seaside city in north China’s Hebei Province, has introduced a diverse lineup of summer activities, including sailing, speedboat rides, intangible cultural heritage performances and immersive VR experiences at the Great Wall Museum.

The city received 43,000 inbound visits during the first half of this year, up 50% year on year, while the average stay of overseas tourists doubled from seven days to fifteen.

The trend is especially noticeable among European travelers. European countries account for nearly 30% of China’s top 20 inbound source markets for this summer. Travel bookings have surged 275% year on year, while attraction ticket orders have increased by 20 times. Visitors from Britain, France and Germany alone account for nearly 42% of all European arrivals.

Why China?

Behind the tourism boom is China’s steadily expanding visa facilitation policy. China currently offers unilateral visa-free entry to nationals of 50 countries and has signed mutual visa exemption agreements with 29 countries. Meanwhile, nationals from 55 countries can now utilize the 240-hour visa-free transit program to enter China via 65 designated ports.

International accessibility has also improved significantly. Direct flights now connect overseas destinations with 160 Chinese cities, while more than three-quarters of inbound travelers now enter the country visa-free.

Meanwhile, travel services have become increasingly foreigner-friendly. Multilingual ticketing machines, AI-powered translation devices and customer support in English, French, Spanish and other languages are now widely available at tourist attractions and on major travel platforms.

Yet one detail repeatedly highlighted by foreign visitors is surprisingly simple: air conditioning. From airports and subway stations to shopping malls, hotels and tourist attractions, reliable cooling has become an essential part of China’s summer travel experience, supported by one of the world’s largest and most reliable power systems.

Across social media, videos of foreign travelers sharing their summer adventures in China have become windows through which global audiences are rediscovering the country. Increasingly, visitors are venturing beyond Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to explore ancient towns, mountain villages and lesser-known cities. What they are finding is more than just a cool place to escape the summer heat – they are discovering a China that is increasingly accessible, welcoming and vibrant.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

SHENZHEN, China, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The climate-trade nexus has become a defining challenge for the Asia-Pacific region — a topic that drew nearly 100 scholars, policymakers, and industry representatives to the Carbon Economics Salon Series in Shenzhen on June 16, just weeks ahead of the APEC Forestry Ministerial Meeting (July 27-28), where the green transition is expected to take center stage.

Themed “Breaking through Green Barriers: Carbon Economy Governance and the Reshaping of International Trade Rules,” the salon was co-hosted by Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) and the Institute of Carbon Neutrality at Peking University (ICN-PKU). Discussions centered on three interconnected challenges: unilateral climate-related trade measures, uneven carbon market development, and the emerging role of AI in carbon governance — topics that also foreshadowed key themes on the APEC agenda in November.

In opening remarks, Piao Shilong, vice president of PKU and dean of ICN-PKU, and Hai Wen, vice chair of the PKU Council and founding dean of PHBS, underscored the urgency of building an inclusive global carbon governance system. Wang Pengfei, Boya Distinguished Professor at PKU and dean of PHBS, called for stronger carbon pricing mechanisms and market-based tools.

The keynote session featured Thomas J. Sargent, the 2011 Nobel laureate in economics and honorary director of the PHBS Sargent Institute of Quantitative Economics and Finance, who noted that uncertainty should encourage earlier investment in green R&D, emissions reduction, and forest conservation. Jiang Kejun, professor and head of the Thrust of Carbon Neutrality and Climate Change at HKUST (Guangzhou), identified 2030–2035 as a critical window for China’s energy transition, driven by rapid growth in renewables and electric vehicles. Wu Dengsheng, professor at Shenzhen University, presented a review of carbon economics research, showing that China ranks second worldwide in publications.

Two roundtable sessions examined the spread of unilateral climate measures and their implications for global trade equity, as well as carbon market cooperation with the Global South. Zhang Haibin, Boya Distinguished Professor at PKU and vice dean of ICN-PKU, delivered closing remarks, reaffirming the importance of continued dialogue across disciplines.

The salon highlighted that carbon governance is increasingly shaped by trade rules, technology, and international coordination. It opened space for continued exchange between PHBS and ICN-PKU on global climate governance and China’s “dual carbon” goals — topics that are expected to feature as APEC economies deepen their climate cooperation.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

SEOUL, South Korea, July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Seegene Inc., a global molecular diagnostics company, announced a comprehensive syndromic PCR-based testing approach for reproductive tract infections (RTIs) through the simultaneous detection of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and human papillomavirus (HPV).

The announcement follows Seegene’s launch of the Global Million Clinical Study (GMCS) on July 8. The initiative aims to generate scientific evidence for Global New Standard of PCR testing by accumulating real-world clinical data from healthcare institutions worldwide and evaluating the clinical utility of disease-specific diagnostic testing strategies.

HPV is widely recognized as the primary cause of cervical cancer, and certain high-risk genotypes, particularly HPV-16 and HPV-18, are closely associated with disease progression. Because screening and follow-up strategies may vary depending on the HPV genotype detected, identifying not only the presence of HPV but also the genotype provides important clinical information for patient management.

STIs are caused by a variety of pathogens, including Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. They may present with a broad range of symptoms, including abnormal discharge, dysuria, genital pain or itching, dyspareunia, lower abdominal pain, genital ulcers, vesicles or warts, and infertility. Because different pathogens often cause similar clinical symptoms, identifying the causative pathogen with symptoms alone may be difficult. In addition, asymptomatic infections are common and may contribute to unrecognized transmission.

Recent studies have suggested that STIs and vaginal dysbiosis may be associated with changes in the local inflammatory, immune, and microbial environment of the cervix, potentially influencing HPV acquisition, persistence, or clearance. This growing body of evidence underscores the importance of interpreting HPV and STI findings within the broader clinical context – including the patient’s age, symptoms, sexual history and exposure risk, pregnancy plan, prior infection history and the specific organism detected. Together, these findings provide a scientific rationale for further evaluating a comprehensive HPV and STI testing approach that assesses HPV risk alongside concurrent sexually transmitted and reproductive tract infections.

Using STAgora™, Seegene’s real-time test data analytics and statistical platform, the company internally analyzed approximately 60,000 HPV & STI co-testing results generated over a 42-month period. The analysis showed that STI pathogens were detected in 82% of HPV-positive cases, while HPV was detected in 46% of STI-positive cases. In addition, co-detection of HPV and STI pathogens was observed in 71% of positive cases identified through comprehensive HPV & STI testing.

These findings demonstrate the potential application of concurrent STI testing with HPV screening. The promising applications may include identifying asymptomatic STIs, assessing co-infections in HPV-positive individuals, and supporting reproductive health evaluations during pregnancy planning or infertility assessment.

Through GMCS, Seegene plans to continue accumulating clinical evidence on comprehensive HPV & STI testing and to statistically evaluate its clinical utility and applicability using STAgora™.

The company will also present the significance and future direction of its comprehensive PCR testing approach at the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM 2026), to be held from July 28 to July 30 in Anaheim, California.
